The purpose of the Annual Monitoring Report (AMR) is to: Monitor Core Output indicators as prescribed within Government guidance; Assess whether national and local indicators have been achieved; Monitor progress of planning policy preparation and production within Local Development Documents (LDDs) in accordance with the adopted Local Development Scheme (LDS), including the monitoring of existing local plan policies and whether they are still fit for purpose; and Consider how growth is being delivered in accordance with the Regional Spatial Strategy (RSS).
