These are awesome commuter bikes that can do long haul if needed. They are capable of 100mph and 60-70mpg with a 4 gallon tank and a fuel injected and water cooled. This bike just received its’ Inspection I 6K service on 7/11, had an oil and filter in December, and we just renewed the steering head bearings. This bike is under full factory warranty until 5/2/12 or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. You get a classic 745cc fuel injected and liquid-cooled V-Twin making a solid 60hp running through chain drive and a 5 speed ‘box all weighing in at 500lb wet and getting 56mpg. With a nice 29” seat height that’s a pretty tidy package. This one was purchased just under a year ago and just traded on a 2011 BMW G650GS. There is the tiniest of nicks on the top of the rear fender that I attempted to photograph but it’s the only flaw. It’s a really nice middle weight bike that can serve as a great starter, excellent commuter, or just you weekend run about. This special edition GTV is based on the water-cooled 250cc fuel injected GTS i.e. but features a fender mounted headlight, dual style vintage leather saddle, chrome wheels and fly screen. These scoots have CVT transmissions, no shifting, goes 80mph, and get 65-70mpg with a 2.4 gallon tank. This scoot features the optional paint to match top trunk, rear chrome metal wrap around bars, floor mat (yes floor mats on a scoot!), and side stand – about a $1000 of goodies. The cool thing about the 250’s is that they are as composed bombing around town as moving down the highway and can serve commuter duty with lots of under seat and rear trunk storage. We were a Vespa/Piaggio dealer a few years ago and really fell in love with these scoots. Be green (literally and figuratively), and act fast, it won’t last. It also features a nice set of driving lights up front, a Touring windscreen, high bars, accessory outlet, really nice large rear seat with chrome grab rail and passenger backrest, and your choice of standard BMW leather covered hard cases or the BMW large side cases for more capacity. The C was the original BMW cruiser and is just awesome for bombing around town or hitting the road. This one is set up for either scenario. We just completed a full 42K Inspection I and bi-annual service, installed a fresh set of tires, installed a new rear disc and pads, updated the rear tail light assembly, installed a new left heated grip, and installed a fresh set of rear view mirrors. These are the little and big things we do at Bob’s that sets us far apart from other dealers and private sale bikes, the Bob’s Advantage! Act fast, the nice ones are hard to find. I have known your of your dealership for over 7 years and having you as a former client was torture seeing those BMW's every time I came by. I made a plan to be sitting on my own Rrad Bike within 10 years and WOW here we are early. My first ride on my new bike was befitting for Motorrad. I think it was about 35.6 degrees Saturday morning, however the ride was amazing. I am sure my friend on his Buell wishes he had heated hand grips too (he had to borrow my cold weather gloves).

Kern, who got to share lots of his new found information on the 2015 BMW S1000RR that will be out in Feb. We had some new track day junkies I have created with us such as, Jeff Cook on his new S1000RR, Brian Jarlesnki on his SV650, and first time Track Day rider, Greg Andrews on his Triumph Speed Triple R!!! Nothing more motivating then waking up in the paddock rooms above VIR and hearing the expert liter bikes racing down the straight at 160+ miles per hour. This was the next best thing we could think of doing for our community this morning.     Givi V35 PLX Side Cases for BMW K1300S & K1200S – Custom Installation by Harry Burney September 2012 Review of side luggage options for the BMW K1300S and K1200S BMW offers their Sports Pannier System (Photo 1) as an accessory for various BMW models including the K1200S and K1300S at a cost of about $1000. The capacity of each BMW sport pannier is 17 liters, but the moving-lid side opens like an accordion giving each bag a maximum volume of 25 liters. But, you don't see many BMW riders with these sport panniers in the maximum capacity mode, because it expands the width of a K1200S/K1300S from 34 inches at the panniers to nearly 43 inches, but even worse, it looks like the pannier lids have been mistakenly left open. SW-MOTECH offers rear and side luggage metal racks (Photos 1 & 2) for the K1200S to mount Givi Monokey, TraX ALU-BOX, Kappa, Hepco & Becker, and Krauser hard luggage. It will be a huge improvement in consistency in my being there and letting people know when and where in advance to pre-plan their weekend activities with family and the type of ride they aspire to take with us. The Sunday Rides will now be twice a month, the first being an Adventure Sunday Ride on the 1st Sunday of every month, then we will do a Street Sunday Ride later in the month. The Street Sunday Ride will rotate from a SHORT Sunday Ride one month to a LONG Sunday Ride the next, and continue to switch from month to month.....But don't worry if you lose track of which month we are on, there is going to be an annual calendar released in this edition and posted on our upcoming events section on the website to ensure you know what time we are departing and what our destination is. Our Adventure Sunday Rides will be for dual sport and adventure touring motorcycles and almost all conditions we encounter will be for individuals on stock tires, your skill level will dictate your comfort in some situations.
