Ural Salem Spring Rally Opportunities for Motorcycle Training and Trips -Quick Links Sunday Ride: Saturday Ride and N8! Kern Track DayTrip Our Sunday was actually a company Saturday Ride that we closed the shop early for. We had a great time with all the customers as we offered two different riding groups, faster and slower, in order to accommodate everyone’s riding level and enjoy the Fall Foliage Ride!!!! The group left the Frontline Eurosports facility at 2:00 and arrived back to the shop to find that Chip and Hugh were hard at work cooking great food in the new smoker for our great customers and riding buddies. The next Sunday Ride we had actually was another road trip to Savannah GA for another great track day experience with N8! Kern, who got to share lots of his new found information on the 2015 BMW S1000RR that will be out in Feb. We had some new track day junkies I have created with us such as, Jeff Cook on his new S1000RR, Brian Jarlesnki on his SV650, and first time Track Day rider, Greg Andrews on his Triumph Speed Triple R!!! I rocked out the ‘ol SV650 again. -

Though most of us have all the great gear and skills we have learned from the training programs we offer, we still don’t want to put our fellow pilots at risk during the “off-season”. But with the temperatures reaching the 70’s today we went ahead and put together a employee and race team ride this morning, spur of the moment, just so we could blast past your house and wake you up to the sound of motorcycle noise rippin’ down the street. Nothing more motivating then waking up in the paddock rooms above VIR and hearing the expert liter bikes racing down the straight at 160+ miles per hour. This was the next best thing we could think of doing for our community this morning. Keep in close contact with us as the season is upon us to start taking our weekly Sunday Rides with Nate and Frontline Eurosports. -

Starting from Rome, the route enters the heart of the Italian Apennines along wind-ing, scenic, desolate roads that cut through these razor-sharp mountains, the "backbone" of southern Italy. Givi V35 PLX Side Cases for BMW K1300S & K1200S
Givi V35 PLX Side Cases for BMW K1300S & K1200S – Custom Installation by Harry Burney September 2012 Review of side luggage options for the BMW K1300S and K1200S BMW offers their Sports Pannier System (Photo 1) as an accessory for various BMW models including the K1200S and K1300S at a cost of about $1000. The capacity of each BMW sport pannier is 17 liters, but the moving-lid side opens like an accordion giving each bag a maximum volume of 25 liters. But, you don't see many BMW riders with these sport panniers in the maximum capacity mode, because it expands the width of a K1200S/K1300S from 34 inches at the panniers to nearly 43 inches, but even worse, it looks like the pannier lids have been mistakenly left open. SW-MOTECH offers rear and side luggage metal racks (Photos 1 & 2) for the K1200S to mount Givi Monokey, TraX ALU-BOX, Kappa, Hepco & Becker, and Krauser hard luggage. But because the side racks are located at the outside edge of the muffler as shown in Photo 2, it causes the side luggage Photo 1 K1200S with BMW sports panniers (left) & SW Motech racks & H&B cases (rt) [2004 promotional photo by BMW (left) & 2008 Twisted Throttle photo (rt) ] to be mounted quite high and very wide on the motorcycle. I was looking for something larger than the BMW panniers, but not something so large as the Hepco and Becker side cases shown in Photo 1. Photo 2 SW-MOTECH luggage rack system for K1200S [2006 photos for SW-MOTECH racks] Since circa 2007 Givi has offered their V35 PLX style side luggage, which better fits the rear profile of many motorcycles including the BMW R1200R and the Yamaha FZ6 as shown in Photo 3. -
