THIS RESTRICTION APPLIES TO ALL RIDES: GUIDE FOR Riders must have sufficient awareness to understand the consequences GUESTS WITH of actions that may lead to the injury of themselves or others. For restraint devices to fully and safely engage, Guests must be within a DISABILITIES certain range of size and physical dimension. Restraint devices must close properly and cannot be hindered by any device or apparatus.
For safety, all riders should be in good health and free from high blood pressure, heart conditions, back and/or neck problems, motion sickness, pregnancy, recent surgery, or other conditions that could be aggravated by riding. Riders must have sufficient body strength and stamina to support themselves with proper rider posture as intended by ride design.
ACCESSIBILITY AND MOBILITY INFORMATION
Accessible Parking: (standard parking rates apply) Designated parking areas for Guests with disabilities are available in the main parking lot of Wild Waves & Enchanted Village. A valid disability- parking permit is required.
Restrooms: Most restrooms throughout Wild Waves & Enchanted Village have facilities designed for access by Guests using wheelchairs. Companion-assisted restroom facilities are also available.
Alternate Entrance Limitations: Some attractions have alternate entrances. These are intended to offer Guests with disabilities a more accessible entrance to the attraction. Alternate entrances are not intended to bypass waiting lines. Guests requesting the use of alternate entrances can visit Guest Relations for more information.
Stamina or Endurance Concerns: Guests who are concerned that they do not have the stamina to wait in the queues should consider using a wheelchair, as the distance between attractions is much greater than the length of the queues.
Dining: Most dining locations are accessible to Guests with disabilities. Team Members are available for assistance when necessary.
Shopping: All shopping locations are accessible to Guests with disabilities. Team Members are available for assistance when necessary.
Along with our Park Map & Guide brochure, this guide provides Guests with disabilities an overview of services and facilities available to them while visiting Wild Waves & Enchanted Village. NOT VALID On Water Attractions. MOBILITY DISABILITIES: Please feel free to contact a Team Member regarding accessibility prior to boarding a particular attraction. All attractions require Guests in wheelchairs to transfer to a ride system either by themselves or with the assistance of a member of their party. Wild Waves & Enchanted Village Team Members are not permitted to physically lift Guests in transferring from their wheelchair to the attraction. Wheelchairs: You may bring your own wheelchair. Electric Convenience Vehicles (ECVs): You may bring your own ECVs. CASTS: Guests with casts and limb braces may be restricted from water attractions if the cast cannot get wet. Hard casts may not be allowed on an attraction due to the restrictive nature of restraint devices. Any cast that prevents normal seating or use of restraint devices will not be allowed. Some rides may require Guests with casts to sit in certain seats or sequences. Guests with casts must be aware that participation on some attractions may worsen an existing injury. VISUAL DISABILITIES::A Wild Waves & Enchanted Village Team Member is available to assist Guests who are visually impaired with menu selections at all food stands. HEARING DISABILITIES::Written Aids: Guests who are deaf or hearing impaired and are unable to hear ride safety information will be shown a written copy by the ride operator. Contact a Team Member at the attraction for assistance. SERVICE ANIMALS: Trained service animals are welcome in most locations throughout Wild Waves & Enchanted Village. All service animals must remain on a leash or in a harness at all times. Guests with service animals should follow the same attraction entrance procedures as described for Guests using wheelchairs. Due to the nature of the park attractions, service animals are not permitted to ride any amusement ride, enter the Wave Pool, or any other water attraction. A party member must remain with the animal at all times.
