Currency : The Italian currency is the Euro which is made up of 100 cents. There are coins of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, and 50 cents and 1 €, 2 €. Bank notes are of 5 €, 10 €, 20 €, 50 €, 100 €, 200 € and 500 €. You can change your money at any bank and at the hotel reception desks. However, in the hotels the rate of exchange is less favourable. International credit cards are accepted in hotels, shops and restaurants.
Time : GMT + 1 hour.
Water : Tap water is completely safe for drinking.
Electricity : The electric current for use in homes and hotels is 220 volts (50 Hz) and the plugs used are two round pins.

3 ITALIAN TRAFFIC RULES
Allowed speed: • Build-up area 50 Km/h • Build-up belt 70 Km/h • Extra build-up area 90 Km/h • Main extra buil-up area roads 110 Km/h • Highways 130 Km/h
Exceptions will be pointed out by road-signs.
Penality: • getting over the allowed speed until 10 km/h: a fee from € 32 to€ 131
• getting over the allowed speed from 11 km/h to 40 km/h: a fee from € 131 to€ 525
• getting over the allowed speed over 40 km/h: a fee from € 258 to € 1.311 and the suspension of the driving licence from 1 to 3 months (a verification by "autovelox" will be done).
Alcoholic level of the driver during the driving In Italy driving with an alcoholic level higher than 0,5 g/l is prohibited. Penality: car stop and driving licence withdrawn.
Safety Belts: It is compulsory to use them.
Documents: It is compulsory to have all driver and car documents on board (driving licence- Insurance certificate-circulation card).
Accident with damage to things: It is compulsory to stop. On the other hand you have to pay a fee.
Accident with injury: It is compulsory to stop and to lend a helping hand. On the contrary: a fee will be threathened and the driving licence will be suspended.
Circulation of over 7,5 ton. vehicles: In Italy is forbidden the circulation of the above mentioned vehicles each Sunday from 07.00 to 24.00 of every Sunday up to September 30; From October from 08.00 to 22.00 always of Sunday.

16 RALLY TERMINOLOGY
ROAD SECTION The itineraries between two consecutive time controls are called road sections. SECTION All the parts of a rally between: - The start and the first regrouping halt. - Two successive regrouping halts. - The last regrouping halt and the finish of the leg or the rally. LEG Each part of the rally, separated by a fixed minimum stopping time. NEUTRALISATION Time during which the crews are stopped by the Organisers for whatever reason. REGROUPING A stop scheduled by the Organisers under parc fermé conditions that has a Time Control at the entrance and exit to enable the schedule to be followed on the one hand, and on the other, to regroup the cars still in the rally. The stopping time may vary from crew to crew. PARC FERMÉ Area in which no repairs or outside assistance is possible, except in the cases expressly provided for by the International Championship regulations and by the supplementary regulations of the rally. BULLETIN Official written communication, which is an integral part of the supplementary regulations of the rally and intended to modify, clarify or complete the latter. The bulletins must be numbered and dated. The entrants (or crew members) must confirm receipt thereof by signature. The bulletins are issued: - By the Organisers, up to the commencement of scrutineering. They will be submitted for the approval of the FIA, except with regard to modifications to the itinerary or to the reconnaissance programme. - By the stewards of the meeting (the Stewards) throughout the competition except with regard to modifications to the itinerary for which bulletins may be issued by the clerk of the course. TIME CARD Card intended for the stamps and entry of times recorded at the different control points scheduled on the itinerary. SPECIAL STAGE Timed speed tests on roads closed for the rally.
17 EHSRC: ELEGIBLE GROUPS AND CLASSES
Category 1: Road legal cars built between 1/1/1931 and 31/12/1957 and Touring and GT cars, model homologated between 1/1/1958 and 31/12/1969.
Category 2: Touring (T), Competition Touring (CT), Grand Touring (GT) and Competition Grand Touring (GTS) cars of Groups 1, 2, 3 and 4, models homologa- ted between 1/1/1970 and31/12/1975:
Category 3: Touring (T), Competition Touring (CT), Grand Touring (GT) and Competition Grand Touring (GTS) cars of Groups 1 2, 3 and 4, models homologated between 1/1/1976 and 31/12/1981.
Period J1 (1/1/1982 to 31/12/1985) cars are acceptable, without being eligible for points for the EHSRC, as follows: - Group B cars - over 1600cc and/or with forced induction. - Group B cars - up to and including 1600cc. - Group A cars.
