Day 1: Cedric Dubler and Ashley 100m Run, Long Jump, Shot Put, High Jump, Moloney show true Aussie 400m Run. Day 2: 110m Hurdles, Discus, Pole Vault, Javelin, 1500m Run. Particular care for spirit at the Tokyo Olympics Cedric’s hamstring needed to be taken in Long Jump and Hurdles. He passed them very well. However, Cedric didn't pass the Pole Vault, which meant he could have abandoned the games, like Damian Warner (Canada) did at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. But no, Cedric decided to continue! He teamed up with Ash, who was by now one of the leading three athletes. Together they worked out a strategy to get Ash in-time in the 1500m race to win the Bronze medal. Cedric acted as a pacer for Ash and roared at him to speed up at the end, to beat the other 2 bronze medal contenders by a few seconds. What a show of true Aussie mateship. Plus it is the first olympic Cedric Dubler urges Ashley Moloney on in the final medal for Australian decathlon! Huge congrats event of the decathlon.     USC TRACK & FIELD Times and marks for USC Track Athletes 1894 to 2018 INTRODUCTION This supplement booklet to the media guide is my effort to document every athlete who competed for the University of Southern California Track Team. Needless to say, I know everyone is not listed, but I did try. This booklet is a free download, but if you really like what you see here, I/we (Trojan Force) would be more than happy to accept any donation you’d like to send. That info will be at the end of this introduction. WHERE TO START? I wrestled with how to organize all this data knowing that the next person would have chosen a different format. But here it is, such as it is. With a men AND a women’s program we’re looking at some 6,000+ names who can be accounted for that competed for USC. This number doesn’t take into account all the relays as there are names on some of the relay teams that did not show up in any other results that I was able to find. Every effort was made to find a mark or time for every track athlete, but this just wasn’t possible. Athletes listed with no marks or times were the 2nd and 3rd place finishers in posted meet results. This booklet covers the years 1894 to 2018 for the men; the women’s supplement is still being “written” and I hope to have it done by the end of summer 2018. The early marks were gathered from posted results in the newspaper and the El Rodeo yearbook.

COACH CARYL’S CORNER With one year in the books I can truly say that I am so happy to be the Director of Track & Field at USC and am so excited for the future! We had a solid fi rst season and I was excited to see our athletes compete so hard, now we are ready to do better things! Last season we were able to capture the women’s MPSF Indoor title in our fi rst season, both the men’s and women’s teams placed second at the conference meet and then our men tied for fourth and the women tied for 16th at the NCAA Championships. Along the way we had some outstanding individual performances like Aleec Harris setting the Pac-12 and school record in the 110m HH and Aaron Brown winning the 100m and 200m dashes at the Pac-12 Championships and fi nishing in the top three in both events at the NCAA Championships.
