Collection 22 B

Abstract The Society small collection is a miscellaneous collection of papers arranged alphabetically by individual, family, creator, or subject. Some of these small collections were removed from the large Society autograph collection (#22A), while others were individually donated and placed within this one. These collections consist of anywhere from a few items to a few folders of papers and mostly document local individuals or families. Materials include correspondence, legal documents, drawings, news clippings, photographs and printed material, as well as Photostats, photocopies and typescripts of original manuscripts. Identifiers pertaining to specific individuals, such as birth and death dates or job titles, have been included in the box and folder list where necessary to help distinguish between people with the same or similar names. Additionally, notes have been included in the some of the folder titles or date ranges to indicate folders that contain both originals and copies of manuscripts.

Provenance This is an artificial collection created by HSP staff, containing manuscript materials from many sources.
