New Look for a New Year Gregg Bowers Gregg Bowers, of Walnut Street, was born and raised in Edgewood. He grew up on Harlow Street and worked at the Edgewood Club between the ages of 11 and 21. He attend- ed the University of Pittsburgh before going to work at the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf in 1973. He has stayed there in a variety of positions ever since. Gregg is now Assistant Superintendent. He and his wife, Kathleen, have a daughter, Sarah, who is married.
