I have welcomed King Olav on board HMS Hood in Chris ana (now Oslo where I worked for a me). I travelled with it on its circumnaviga on. I have worked the rivers of old China, sailed the waters of the Far East Sta on, and supported a fleet of submarines out of Hong Kong. I have searched for Zeppelins off the coast of Norfolk and patrolled the west coast of Chile (another place I have lived) and South America.
And now I end up in 7th November on HMS Andes again, a er 43,572 weather en res. It feels like that should be the end.
But it probably won’t be...”
