Green Day Maria Original Version Download Maria green day maria original version download Maria. Bring in the head of the government The dog ate the document Somebody shot the president And no one knows where Maria went? Maria, Maria, Maria Where did you go? Be careful what you're offering Your breath lacks the conviction Drawing the line in the dirt Because the last decision Is no. She smashed the radio with the board of education Turn up the static left of the state of the nation. Turn up the flame, step on the gas Burning the flag at half mast She's a rebel's forgotten son An export of the revolution. Unreleased/Uncollected Songs. So, what songs have NOT been officially released in all/most of the world, either at all (i.e. they've only leaked, at most), only as B-sides through CD singles (any or all applicable countries), on compilations (such as the two Fat Wreck ones), or only as bonus tracks in any countries or through specific retailers (might overlap with all but the first category)? Aside from the entirety of Cigarettes and Valentines (supposedly a backup still exists), here's what I've got so far: "409 in Your Coffeemaker" (unmixed, "Basket Case" single) "Redundant" (Richard Dodd mix, CD singles) "DUI" (pulled from Shenanigans, only on promo copies) "Church on Sunday" (alternate mix, promo CD) "Favorite Son" (Rock Against Bush Vol. II, Japanese version of American Idiot, "21 Guns" CD and 7" singles in at least one region) "21st Century Breakdown" (demo version w/alternate lyrics - leaked?) "Last of the American Girls" (radio mix, released on CD single?) "Shoplifter" (CD single, American Idiot iTunes bonus) "Too Much Too Soon" (CD single, American Idiot iTunes bonus) "Governator" (CD single, American Idiot) "Lights Out" (21st Century Breakdown - Japanese version, some CD singles [at least in U.S.]) "Hearts Collide" (CD single(s)) "A Quick One, While He's Away" (cover, 21st Century Breakdown iTunes bonus) "Another State of Mind (cover, 21st Century Breakdown iTunes bonus) "That's All Right" (cover, 21st Century Breakdown iTunes bonus) "Like a Rolling Stone" (cover, 21st Century Breakdown iTunes bonus) "Don't Want to Know if You are Lonely" (cover, released on split 7" for RSD) "Maria" (original version, released on 7"?) "I Fought the Law" (download) "Working Class Hero" (cover, Instant Karma charity compilation) "21 Guns" (BJ/AI cast, download and CD single (?)) "Good Riddance" (original version, "Brain Stew" shaped CD single) To my knowledge, all (aside from the first seven and the very last one) are available to download from Amazon (at least in the U.S.), but are not widely available on CD and/or vinyl in general. Think we'll see another compilation or two with these things released physically? Feel free to inform me of anything I've missed (aside from live cuts - too many of those as bonus tracks and B-sides to really take stock of). The original (demo?) version of Good Riddance was also in the regular version of the Brainstew CD single. Not just the brain shaped CD version. Also, what about "When It's Time"? I think it was released as single a few years ago. I think the other ones were already mentioned in the other comments. Great job. Why does it always rain on me is another one. Where did that one come from? Forgot about the Godzilla remix of "Brain Stew," "The Simpsons Theme," and "The Saints are Coming." I think there's also a remix of "2000 Light Years Away" that's on a soundtrack that hasn't been re-released, and I'm not sure if the radio edit of "Kill the DJ" (with the alternate lyrics) was used on the clean version of Dos!, or if the profanities were just muted out - even so, that's twenty-seven tracks right there that are just begging for an official physical release (hopefully a regular one - I don't wanna have to go through any Record Store Day crap, unless they're gonna release it on the webstore like they did with Tune in, Tokyo a few months back - that was pretty cool). Edit: Forgot "The Ballad of Wilhelm Fink" and the two Iggy tracks (from the other thread) - so, thirty tracks. I'm not sure the stuff from Live Freaky, Die Freaky! would necessarily count as Green Day, although they'd make for cool bonus tracks (as would the original version of "Radio" by Rancid). Info for International Superhits! (Remastered) A collection like International Superhits! confirms that Green Day were not only a popular American rock band, but they could have held their own against their idols. The collection of 21-tracks features all the hits plus a new song and non-LP tracks. Originally released in November 2001, International Superhits! contains singles from 1994's Dookie through to 2000's Warning albums along with two previously unreleased tracks! All Music Guide's review lauds "it becomes clear that the group was as melodic as the Jam or the Buzzcocks and as impassioned as the Clash, only they were American and coming about 15 years too late. Distilled to their singles, Green Day sound fiercer than ever, and more musically vibrant - - and, if you're a fan of the albums, it's easy to realize that this just scratches the surface of what they've done. But that surface is spectacular -- proof positive that Green Day are one of the great punk bands, regardless of era. And there's no better proof of that than this addictive, essential collection." Green Day takes the title International Superhits literally, offering a no-surprises compilation of all the songs that made a big dent on commercial radio. From the pop-punk heroes' breakthrough album Dookie ("Longview," "Welcome to Paradise") through Insomniac ("Brain Stew"), Nimrod ("Good Riddance [Time of Your Life]"), and Warning ("Minority"), if a record produced a hit, that song is on this album. • Methcognition: Taking the Information to the Front Lines
1 Methcognition: Taking the Information to the Front Lines Authors: *Eric S. See, *George E. Hendricks, and **Christopher M. Bellas *Methodist University, NC; **Youngstown State University, OH ABSTRACT Methamphetamine abuse has cost the United States billions of dollars and put the health and lives of countless children at risk. This research explores whether those professionals who work with children the most understand how methamphetamine is produced and consumed, as well as the potential risk it presents. It is hypothesized that those professionals who come into contact with children the most (criminal justice, social services, and community activists) will lack a general knowledge about methamphetamine, thereby increasing a child’s exposure to primary and secondary victimization. Data was collected utilizing a convenience survey sample of statewide North Carolina juvenile service professionals on their knowledge of methamphetamine use and its production in the year 2012. The findings show a disconnect between what the respondents think they know about methamphetamine and what they actually know about the drug’s production and use. The results suggest that their deficient knowledge about methamphetamine increases childrens’ exposure to victimization. The Methamphetamine Epidemic The goal of society should be to protect its children. While drug use is not a new social phenomenon, there has been one drug, methamphetamine, which has grown in popularity over the last decade. Methamphetamine, commonly referred to as meth, is a powerful drug and a central nervous system stimulant which is part of a larger family of stimulant drugs that includes cocaine, and ecstasy. The growing popularity of this substance derives from the fact that it can be easily and inexpensively manufactured without the need for extensive knowledge or background and requires few supplies for manufacturing (Weisheit & Wells, 2010).

  • The Effects of Digital Music Distribution" (2012)
Southern Illinois University Carbondale OpenSIUC Research Papers Graduate School Spring 4-5-2012 The ffecE ts of Digital Music Distribution Rama A. Dechsakda [email protected] Follow this and additional works at: http://opensiuc.lib.siu.edu/gs_rp The er search paper was a study of how digital music distribution has affected the music industry by researching different views and aspects. I believe this topic was vital to research because it give us insight on were the music industry is headed in the future. Two main research questions proposed were; “How is digital music distribution affecting the music industry?” and “In what way does the piracy industry affect the digital music industry?” The methodology used for this research was performing case studies, researching prospective and retrospective data, and analyzing sales figures and graphs. Case studies were performed on one independent artist and two major artists whom changed the digital music industry in different ways. Another pair of case studies were performed on an independent label and a major label on how changes of the digital music industry effected their business model and how piracy effected those new business models as well. I analyzed sales figures and graphs of digital music sales and physical sales to show the differences in the formats. I researched prospective data on how consumers adjusted to the digital music advancements and how piracy industry has affected them. Last I concluded all the data found during this research to show that digital music distribution is growing and could possibly be the dominant format for obtaining music, and the battle with piracy will be an ongoing process that will be hard to end anytime soon.

  • I Still Believe
I still believe I still believe was first recorded by Bunny DeBarge in 1986. A year later, Chrysalis artist Brenda K. Starr also recorded a version of the song, who just happened to be employing a back-up singer 0351 5” CD-Single from Austria named Mariah Carey at the time. In 1998, Mariah recorded her own SAMPCS 6452 promo in slimline jewelcase version for her compilation album #1’s. I still believe was released as a single on February 9, 1999 in the USA and on March 1, 1999 Tracklisting: in Europe. On February 23, a remix single, called I still believe/Pure 1. I still believe (Album Version) imagination, was released. On the back cover is a little message for the dj’s: “I want to thank everyone at radio for your continued support. I appreciate ya! Love, Mariah.” On January 5, 2001, Kathi Pinto, a songwriter from California, filed a copyright infringement lawsuit in United States District Court for the Central District of California over the single. Kathi alleges in the suit that she co-wrote a song entitled I still believe in 1981, which was sold to music publisher Galen Senogles at Simple Song Music that same year. As the song switched hands among various publish- 0986 5” CD-Single from Austria SAMPCS 666781-8 ers and record execs over the years through Pinto’s desire for a re- promo without sleeve cording contract, it eventually ended up in the hands of Tom Sturges at Chrysalis Records around 1985. Sturges allegedly helped pen a Tracklisting: tune called I still believe with Antonina Armato and Beppe Canarelli.
