BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH Mark D. Miles (b. 1953) is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Central Indiana Partnership Inc. (CICP,) a non-profit regional alliance of corporate CEO's and university presidents dedicated to the economic growth of Central Indiana. Mr. Miles was born in Indianapolis and attended IPS schools but transferred to North Central High School in 10th grade. He then went on Wabash College studying political science. Upon graduation he became involved in politics working on campaigns for Richard Lugar, William Hudnut and Dan Quayle. He also worked for the Indiana Sports Corporation and was chairman of the host committee for the 1987 Pan American Games in Indianapolis. From August, 1990 through 2005 Miles served as CEO of the Association of Tennis Professionals, the governing body of the men's international professional tennis circuit. He left the organization in 2006 to head CICP. In 2008 he successfully headed the Indianapolis contingent in hosting the 2012 Super Bowl. Sources: Information in collection.
