    UTKARSH BANGLA, 2016 -PBSSD- Paschim Banga Society for Skill

    UTKARSH BANGLA, 2016 (A Flagship Scheme For Short Term Skill Development In West Bengal) -PBSSD- Paschim Banga Society for Skill Development 1. AIM: - The Government aims to introduce a Flagship Scheme in the State of West Bengal for the entire non-institutional, non-project mode, short term Skill Development interventions to provide wage/ self employment linked skills training to the residents of the State. Integrating all Skill Development interventions at the State level, this scheme shall be called the “UTKARSH BANGLA 2016”. 2. OBJECTIVE: - The objective of the Scheme is to skill individuals to empower them to engage in wage employment or self-employment leading to improved livelihood through increased earnings, and/or improved working conditions, and/or opportunities to move from informal to formal work sectors.The skills imparted will be compliant with National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF)/ NCVT/ QP - NOS and conform to prevalent National norm and Standards. The training shall be in National Council(s)/ Industry validated and market relevant skills based modules followed by assessment and certification procedures that have an all India acceptance. 3. THE SCHEME : The features of the Scheme are: a. Title: The Scheme shall be referred to as “UTKARSH BANGLA 2016”. Implementing Agency : i. All the interventions funded by the various State Government Departments/ Bodies/ Agencies from State and other funds, leading to Skill Development in the non-project mode, shall be made by the Paschim Banga Society for Skill Development (PBSSD) on their behalf. PBSSD will be supported by a State Project Management Unit (SPMU) ii. The Technical Education & Training Department shall facilitate the interventions made under the ambit of this scheme by providing the required technical support to the PBSSD.

E- mail: [email protected] ABSTRACT On the January 18th 2018 I along with my field persons made a trip for occasional visit to suburb of Berhampur city , the Ambagada village(GPS Lat l9° 20 '3.35" Lon 84° 45 '01,33."). The hilly terrain with scrub land near western side of Berhampur town which have elevation 45-55 MSL elevation 42mtrs MSL). It is situated close to Kerandimal hills of Ganjam districts of Odisha. On a cold evening of the winter season, we visited the stonequery site and came to found a small frog jumping ahead our slow trekking motorcycle then we confirmed it as Variageted frog ( Ramnellavariegata). The frog measured about 25 mm SVL ) and 13mm in diameter at mid body . INTRODUCTION tries to crawl up on the stone, before escaping jump, it was photographed.

    GOVERNMENT OF ODISHA HEALTH & FAMILY WELFARE DEPARTMENT *** NOTIFICATION )c)5. 9 6 35/2015- /H., Dated: Government of Odisha is committed to provide adequate, acceptable, accessible, equitable and affordable Health Care Services to the people of Odisha. It has been experienced that retention of medical officers in rural and remote areas with specific focus on KBK, KBK+ and Tribal Sub-Plan areas continues to remain a big challenge before the Health Service sector. In order to incentivise the doctors to work in KBK, KBK+ and Tribal Sub-Plan difficult areas Government have been paying special incentive / allowance of Rs. 4,000/- per month to the M.Os. working at DHHs and SDHs and Rs. 8,000/- per month to the M.Os. working in CHCs and PHCs vide H & FW Department resolution No. 1489/H, dtd. 20.01.2012. However, it was seen that this needed a re-examination. It is therefore felt necessary to provide place based incentives to the Medical Officers working in different difficult / remote areas in the state as per vulnerability status of the places taking into consideration certain key parameters such as difficult and back wardness of the location, tribal dominance, left wing extremisms, train communication, road and transport facilities, social infrastructure and distance from state head quarter etc. Hence, Government have been pleased to categories the peripheral health institutions of the state as follows basing on their vulnerability status. 1. Vulnerability status of peripheral Health Institutions :- All the 1751 (One thousand seven hundred fifty one) peripheral Government Health Institutions of the State are differentiated into five different categories and declared as V-0 to V-4 Health Institutions as mentioned at Annexure-'A', taking into consideration their vulnerability status.
