There are Dr. Amy Locklear and three components of HB233. One, the bill requires Brian Babb the State Board of Education (SBE) and Board of Governors of the State University System (BOG) to select or create a survey to be administered by all Florida College System (FCS) institutions and state universities annually to capture the extent to which competing ideas and perspectives are presented on campus as well as the extent to which those surveyed feel free to express their beliefs and viewpoints on campus and in the classroom.

Second, the bill authorizes the video and audio recording of class lectures and clarifies that the nonconsensual recording of video and audio of such lectures recorded in classrooms, subject to the privacy protections provided in the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), is permissible. Third, the bill proscribes certain requirements that now must be contained in the codes of student conduct maintained by FCS and State University System (SUS) institutions.

The Shawn Proctor goal of QPR is to save lives and reduce suicidal (SMA Healthcare) behaviors by providing innovative, practical and proven suicide prevention training. The training IS focused on how to recognize signs of suicidal behavior, and how to initiate the conversation – most individuals do not know how to approach someone who may be suicidal. The first step is to get people to be comfortable to reach out to those they care about. Eventually, through conversa- tion (question) and persuasion, the goal is to get individuals who are with a mental health issues or suicidal thoughts to seek professional help (refer). Space is limited.

Facilitators will share their personal experiences regarding how they have coped with and managed the stressors associated with the COVID-19 pandemic along with suggestions for stress-reducing strategies related to setting boundaries, balancing home/family life, and the importance of self-care.
