When you head into Kilkenny from the M9 and N10, you will come to a big roundabout called the Hebron Road roundabout. You will see a big McDonalds. Turn right (3rd exit) on this roundabout and keep going straight on, signposted for Castlecomer – through the Johnswell Road roundabout and the Newpark Roundabout. At the very last roundabout, called Castlecomer Roundabout, take a right here (left is back into town). On your way to Castlecomer, take the first exit at the next roundabout, for Ballyragget. Go out this road about 6-7km, then you will see a turn on your left for FRESHFORD 8KM (also called the L1825). Take this turn left and follow the road around, all the way, past Campions pub on your left (remember this is a dangerous bend). When you come to the T-Junction, take a left as if going back into KK. Straight after, there will be a turn to your right - the L5010. It will also have a sign on your left saying Tulla Church. Take this right. Follow the road all the way around, pass Tulla Church and keep going. You will be kinda driving upward as you are now on the hills. Keep driving until you see a Stop Sign. Turn left at the Stop sign. We are the third house on the left. It is a yellowy cream house, with black gates at the entrance.

From the M8 you take exit 4 sign posted for Kilkenny Urlingford. Head for Freshford Go through Freshford stay on the r693 follow the signs for Kilkenny Stay on the R693 for approx. 5km. You will see a sign saying Ballyragget to your left you go past that and take the next right.It will also have a sign on your left saying Tulla Church. Take this right. Follow the road all the way around, pass Tulla Church and keep going. You will be kinda driving upward as you are now on the hills. Keep driving until you see a Stop Sign. Turn left at the Stop sign. We are the third house on the left. It is a yellowy cream house, with black gates at the entrance.
Directions from San Antonio B&B, Mena House, Park Villa B&B, Castlecomer Road, Kilkenny Come out of the B&B and take a left (past the Newpark Hotel on your right) and drive straight on. You will come to the Castlecomer Road Roundabout. Go straight through this roundabout, signposted for Castlecomer. Take the first exit at the next roundabout, for Ballyragget and Durrow. Come out of the station. Mac Donagh junction shopping centre will be on the right. Head to the top of the road at the traffic lights. Take a right towards a small roundabout (Eddie Rockets is at the right of this roundabout). There are 3 main junctions off this roundabout, the one you came up and two others. Take the one that goes more or less straight on, pass Lenehans pub on the left and the Bookies on the right. Straight on and through the next roundabout. Pass the Broguemaker pub. All B&B’s are about 6 -7 houses up from the pub – there is a sign outside. Across from the Newpark Hotel. It’s about 20 mins walk or 5mins in a taxi.
