• Clarification on SSD’s and RED station..
- Each unit can be bus powered if on FW800, each unit comes with a power supply if running off esata or USB
- You dont need a base station unit to power them, is for conveniently powering up to 3 reader only
- ‘Redmag1.8’ station uses a proprietary interface to read the 1.8” SSD’s from the camera..
- ‘Redmag 2.5” station is for std off the shelf 2.5” esata notebook drives or SSD drives for back ups (though RED has a list of ‘approved drives’)
- All media stations have esata, 2x FW800 & mini USB ports on the rear
