IT’S almost a year since the completion of major redevelopment work on one of Hartlepool’s landmark buildings. Titan House - at the corner of Park Road and York Road - opened for business in November last year after the Thirteen Group carried out major regeneration work on the building. Now the one-stop customer and resident access hub has welcomed more than 3,500 people through its doors since its opening.

Services on offer Customers of all Thirteen Group’s partner organisations, including Housing Hartlepool and Tees Valley Housing, have used Titan House to access the full range of housing and advice services available. More than a local housing office, Titan House offers a wide range of customer services including: • housing and neighbourhood services • a self-service access point • money and employability advice • information about how to access other help and advice Housing Hartlepool and Tees Valley Housing customers can get advice on tenancies, repairs and rents. People can also make appointments with specialist advisers who will help deal with anything relating to their home. Residents of Hartlepool can use Titan House, located in the heart of the town, to get help to find their next home, with experienced staff on-hand to advise on applying for homes to rent or buy. Thirteen’s Money Advice and Employability service offers a special package of assistance on a range of issues including budgeting, debt advice and benefit issues. People can also get support to create a CV, develop job interview techniques and find help to access training and employment.

Around the area In Hartlepool, one, two and three bedroom properties are available for affordable rent and sale on a number of estates throughout the area. Thirteen Group customers benefit from a 24-hour contact number, repairs service, low rental costs and experienced, professional staff dedicated to helping them achieve their ambitions. Plus, with a rented property from one of the partners in the Thirteen Group, there’s no bond or admin fee to pay. Older residents can find out more about the specialist housing available to over 55s in either sheltered accommodation or extra care developments.
