SET... Decide what kind of dinner you want to host (cocktail party, banquet reception, seated dinner), who you want to help cook, and what you want to serve: • PeachDish hors d’oeuvres and/or meal box PREP LIST • Home-cooked snacks and/or meal • meal ingredients • Catered snacks and/or meal • drink options • Potluck • ice • corkscrew/bottle-opener Set your dinner date and time (anytime from May 4 to May 9), • silverware and invite your guests at least two weeks out. • serving utensils • serving dishes Order your hors d’oeuvres and/or meal box inspired by Ryan • trivets Hidinger’s Prelude to Staplehouse recipes from PeachDish • plates/bowls (peachdish.com/gksupperclub) by April 16 to be sure you • cups receive a GK Supper Club kit. • napkins • PeachDish Hors D’oeuvres Box: 8 servings for $84 • table linens ($10 donated to GK) • decor (flowers, candles, etc.) • PeachDish Meal Box: 3 courses serve 4 guests for $148 • place cards ($20 donated to GK) • place mats • PeachDish Dinner Party Option: 1 hors d’oeuvres box + 2 • garbage bags/cans dinner boxes for 8-10 guests for $380 • recycling station ($75 donated to GK)
Confirm your guest list one week out. Dinner party not your style? The day before your GK Supper Club, we recommend setting up Take your friends out to your your space (refreshment station, food display area, etc.) and favorite restaurant, foot the even setting your table(s), particularly if you plan to host a bill and ask them to pay it large group of guests. It’s also a good idea to prep portions forward by giving to GK! of your meal the day before and to prep your mis en place if you’re cooking your own snacks or meals.
GO! The day of your GK Supper Club, finsh any final touches on your space, hit play on your GK Spotify playlist and get ready to cook! Welcome each guest as they arrive, let them know what to expect and offer them something to drink.
During your GK Supper Club, set aside time to tell you guests who the Giving Kitchen is and what we do by playing our GK Gives video at vimeo.com/givingkitchen/gkgives. Let them know why GK is important to you, and ask your guests to support GK by donating to your GK Supper Club page. (You can also collect donations and mail them to the Giving Kitchen by May 16 if they prefer to give via cash or check.
