57th GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE YORK RITE SOVEREIGN COLLEGE OF NORTH AMERICA Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center Hotel - Denver, Colorado

Colorado Companion Knights and their Ladies would like to welcome you at the 57th General Assembly of the York Rite Sovereign College of North America to be held at the Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center Hotel in Denver, Colorado, July 30 through August 2, 2014. The hotel is Four Diamond rated, and has been recently renovated to provide one of the best convention experiences. The RTD light rail is a short walk from the hotel, or shuttle service to the light rail stop or within 5 miles of the hotel can be arranged.

The Denver metropolitan area and the surrounding counties offer a variety of activities and venues to tempt every visitor. We are tentatively planning tours of the Air Force Academy and U.S. Olympic Center in Colorado Springs, and also a tour of the Denver Botanical Gardens. Other individual options for visitors are available, such as the Denver Art Museum, Denver Museum of Natural History, the Butterfly Pavilion in Westminster, Celestial Seasonings Tea Company tour, Coors Brewery tour, Molly Brown House and natural attractions such as Red Rocks and Garden of the Gods. It is a short drive to the Colorado gaming towns of Black Hawk and Central City, or perhaps a trip to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. Consider U.S. Air Force Academy extending your trip to Colorado and enjoy the beauty of the Rocky Mountains. There are many fine restaurants in the area near the hotel for Jurisdictional Dinners on Thursday evening. We will send information to the Grand Governors regarding various venues for their consideration in arranging for their jurisdictional events. After the dinners, an Ice Cream Social is scheduled for 8 PM. This will be a fun social time to get together with old friends, meet and make new friends, and have a relaxing time in the evening. U.S. Olympic Center

Throughout the days of the Assembly there will be a hospitality room available for relaxation and socializing. Plan on coming to the General Assembly in Denver next summer.
