It is limited to print and non-print materials about Georgia, and is divided into sections on art, music, language arts, science, physical education, and social studies. Special sections are devoted to biographies of Georgians and to instructional television series relating to Georgia. A section listing professional resources and auxiliary agencies offering free and inexpensive materials is included. Entries are in alphabetical order by author's name and are arranged under the appropriate subject heading. Native-born Georgian authors are indicated by an asterisk. Citations include author, title, publisher/producer, copyright date, format, grade level, and publisher's/producer's annotation. All entries are commercially available. The supplement updates the earlier guide, adds a list of Georgia periodicals, and expands the list of state agencies offering free or inexpensive materials related to Georgia.
