CSB Orlando Grad Goes from Tourism to Traffic/Assistant Production CSB Orlando Grad Goes from Tourism to Traffic/Assistant Production Manager at Top Orlando Radio Group Connecticut School of Broadcasting/Orlando was working in tourism one month and now he's been hired full time as the new Traffic/Assistant Production Manager at Top Orlando Radio Group, Hall Communications. Orlando, FL (PRWEB) April 04, 2016 -- Less than a year ago, Tim Devlin was working in Orlando’s busy tourism industry but he just wasn’t feeling fulfilled. Just months later, he’s turned an internship at Hall Communications Group (WONN WPCV WLKF WWRZ) into a full time career as Assistant Production Manager/Traffic, thanks to the Connecticut School of Broadcasting! “Tim graduated in July of last year (2015). I am a huge fan of his passion, attitude and work ethic and I’m so proud of him!” says Orlando Campus Director Shayna King. Tim is happy he made the leap, “I'd been working in Tourism ever since High school. Theme Parks, hotels, travel agencies; you name it, I did it. It was good work, but it wasn't what I wanted to do. After several years, I needed something else. When the opportunity to attend the Connecticut School of Broadcasting came along, I thought, ‘that's it, that's what I want to do.’ It wasn't easy, but with hard work, dedication, and a few moments of panic around exam time, I gained the skills I needed to land a job at a local radio station.” The Connecticut School of Broadcasting is the Nation’s largest group of Broadcast Media Schools. CSB has campus locations in CT, MA, NJ, NY, NC, GA and FL. • RECEIVED JUN - 3 1997 in the Matter of ) ) Amendment of Section 73.202(B) ) Table of Allotments ) RM----- ) FM Broadcast Station ) (Fort Meade, Florida) ) )
BEFORE THE DOCKET FILE COpy ORIGiNAl FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION VVASHINGTON, D.C. 20554 RECEIVED JUN - 3 1997 In the Matter of ) ) Amendment of Section 73.202(b) ) Table of Allotments ) RM----- ) FM Broadcast Station ) (Fort Meade, Florida) ) ) To: Chief, Allocations Branch PETITION FOR RULE MAKING Hall Communications, Inc. ("Hall"), licensee of Station WWRZ (FM), Arcadia, Florida, hereby petitions the Commission to (1) amend the FM Table of Allotments, 47 CFR Section 73.202(b) of the Commission's Rules, by deleting Channel 252C2 at Arcadia, Florida, and allotting that Channel to Fort Meade, Florida, and (2) modify the authorization of Station WWRZ to specify Fort Meade, Florida, as its new community of license. Technical Considerations Station WWRZ is presently licensed to operate on Channel 252C2 at Arcadia, Florida. Hall proposes to change WWRZ's community of license from Arcadia to Fort Meade. As demonstrated in the attached Engineering Statement prepared by Wayne S. Reese, E. Harold Munn, JI. & Associates, Inc., Hall's consulting engineer (Exhibit A), the proposed reallocation would be made in full accordance with the Commission's Rules. WWRZ's No. of Copies rec'd ~;11. 6 List ABCDE 3.16 mV/m signal delivered from the Fort Meade reference coordinates would satisfy the city of license coverage requirements of Section 73.315(a) of the Rulesll and the allotment of Channel 252C2 at Fort Meade would also meet the minimum distance separation requirements of Section 73.207(b)(1). See Exhibit A. In addition, since the reallocation is mutually exclusive with Hall's present Arcadia allocation, the proposal would satisfy Section 1.420(i) of the Rules which permits an FM community of license change by means of a protected rule making procedure where the amended allotment is mutually exclusive with a licensee's present allocation.
