Department level Committee (DLC) consists of HOD, Programme coordinator,SAR coordinator and course coordinators made the draft by convening department level committee meeting. DLC formulated the draft based on a series of discussions and feedbacks from students, parents, alumni and persons from industry. Dean Academic Prof.Jacob Philip convened detailed meetings with DLC to make the process fruitful. After formulating the draft vision, mission and PEO’s ,DLC submitted it to Dean Academic for the necessary corrections and after getting the feedbacks from Dean Academic, necessary corrections were made and submitted to the Principal for approval and after getting the approval, we submitted the same to Department Advisory Board (DAB). DAB consists of stake holders from industry, alumni, parents, faculties from other institutes etc. They thoroughly went through the Vision, Mission and PEO’s and gave the feedbacks. Based on their feedback, we made necessary corrections and it got finalized by DAB. Institute Marks : 15.00 PEO 1 - Be the best professional engineers or pursue higher studies with strong knowledge gained during undergraduate education. PEO 1 is concerned with the knowledge gained during undergraduate education and how will it help in their future studies and career as an engineer. It maintains strong correlation with mission M1 and M2. Strong correlation is achieved through class room training, lab sessions, project, seminars and workshops organized by the department in addition to the subjects in the curriculum. Social, ethical and managing skills are concerned with the behaviour and professionalism of the student which can be achieved by interacting with outside world.It maintains medium correlation with M3 which is lifelong learning and sharing of knowledge among stake holders. PEO2 - Perform successfully as individuals or as team leaders/members keeping utmost professional ethics and social commitment.
