The film is set in the early 16th century, Pope Julius II (played by Rex Harrison) commissions Michelangelo (played by Charlton Heston) to paint the Sistine Chapel and thus begins the battle of wills. • Big Eyes (2014) | Margaret Keane Available to Rent/Buy on Amazon Video, iTunes, Netflix, Vudu Rated PG-13 | 106 minutes Directed by Tim Burton and starring Amy Adams and Christoph Waltz, the film follows the story of American artist Margaret Keane and her husband, Walter Keane. Walter took credit for Margaret’s popular “Big Eye” paintings in the 1950s and 1960s. The film details the passions and frustrations of van Gogh, starring Kurt Douglas as the artist with an Oscar winning supporting performance by Anthony Quinn as Paul Gauguin. DOCUMENTARY • Kusama – Infinity (2018) | Yayoi Kusama Available to Rent/Buy on Amazon Video, Google Play, iTunes, Vudu, YouTube Not Rated | 76 minutes The top-selling female artist in the world, Japanese painter Yayoi Kusama overcame countless odds to bring her radical artistic vision to the world stage. Her installation Infinity Mirrored Rooms sells out everywhere and she continues to create new work daily. You may not recognize Kusama's name, but I'm sure you've read and/or have seen her work!
