Gener- ally we must face all challenges mentally before we can tackle the physical ones. I've had a stroke and I can't do all sorts of things I used to do. So what! You are not alone and many people have had the same challenges. What did they do? They got busy working on overcoming them. The worst thing you can do is “Woe is me, poor me, look at me, feel sorry for me”. Try not to bring attention to yourself. Just get busy getting the help to cure your problem. There are many places to get that help. There are rehab hos- pitals and a great source is a stroke recovery branch where you will get a lot of mental and physical sup- port. Here you will take away a tremendous amount of help mentally and physically. The best thing you can do is never give up. -Corky B. MANDATE The Boundary Bay Airport Advisory Committee will, consistent with the general purpose described above, undertake the following through the Chair: 1. Advise Council and staff with regard to specific operations issues affecting the airport and lands; 2. Advise on any proposals which Council refers to the Committee with regard to the use and operation of the airport and lands. 2009 WORK PROGRAM 1. Provide input on the operation of the airport through Mayor and KEY OBJECTIVES Council including review of the airport lessee's objectives for short term improvements and long range planning for the airport. 2. Received delegations from Alpha Aviation relative to the ongoing management and operation of the airport. 3. June 17, 2008 June 17, 2008 Confidential Vancouver Island and Sunshine Coast Region Air Transportation Outlook i Executive Summary InterVISTAS Consulting Inc. was retained by the Vancouver Island Economic Developers Association (VIEDA) to develop a Vancouver Island and Sunshine Coast Region Air Transportation Outlook. Most airports in Canada and all but one of the airports in the study area are managed by independent authorities or by municipal councils of the communities they serve. These airports are free to participate in any market sector in which they see opportunity: as defined and sanctioned by their Board’s mission, vision and strategic plan for their community’s airport. Key factors that govern and shape decisions around market participation are: ■ Market opportunities in terms of underserved regions, low levels of service and the airport’s competitive positioning in that sector based on market analysis ■ The operational capability of the airport to participate in target markets ■ A business case that supports the investment to enter target markets The InterVISTAS’ approach and methodology for this study was shaped by these considerations. The report assesses levels of service by defined regions and market sectors, identifies current levels of service, assesses airports’ capabilities in the region and recommends development subject to detailed business case analysis. Section 2 of the report presents an overview of the socio-economic and demographic characteristics of the seven major Regional Districts contained in the study area. The data shows significant forecast population growth for the Central Island Regional Districts of Nanaimo, Comox/Strathacona and the Cowichan Valley as well as the Sunshine Coast Regional District (Gibsons/Sechelt).

Package price does not include applicable taxes which is an additional $350-$400 USD. An individual may request a single occupancy cabin for the duration of their stay at an additional charge of $1,500 USD. Package Includes: Fixed wing charter flight into and out of the camp from Smithers, BC; 6 fully guided days of angling on the Sustut River, meals, non-alcoholic beverages, accommodations while at the lodge, and select wines served with dinner. Package Does Not Include: Meals and accommodations while in Smithers, hard alcohol, beer, BC fishing licenses, gratuities, and additional unforeseen air charters fixed wing or helicopter. Gratuities: Gratuities are not included in the cost of the package and are left to the discretion of the individual angler. However, for planning purposes, guided anglers can expect an industry standard of 10-20% of the fishing package. Trip Itinerary * In 2017 we will be running a Saturday to Saturday program- Flying into the lodge from Smithers     on a Saturday and departing the lodge for Smithers the following Saturday.

The airports managed growth strategy first saw completion of a two-phase expansion plan between 2006 and 2011. Since then, passenger numbers have been on the climb, in fact they are 10 years ahead of passenger projections. By the beginning of 2016, just over 1,900,000 passengers travelled through YCD’s terminals since airport expansion started in 2006. Jorgen Poschmann, travelling with Air Canada home to Ontario, was randomly selected this morning from passengers travelling on flight AC 8260 and WS3228. He received a set of luggage and free parking at the Nanaimo Airport for a year, which will be used by his family he has been visiting on Gabriola Island. Each passenger today travelling on Air Canada flight 8260 and 8259, as well as WestJet flight 3228 and 3109 also received a Two Millionth Passenger Gift Pack. “We reached our millionth passenger just 3.5 short years ago," says Nanaimo Airport President and CEO Mike Hooper. We're very proud to be the Central Island's airport of choice." Two million passengers is roughly equal to every person in the City of Nanaimo making 24 trips. In 2015 the airport served as a gateway for 312,000 people -- the sixth straight year in which it set a record for passenger traffic. The airport is ten years ahead of its own passenger projections. As part of the "You're One in 2 Million" campaign, the two millionth passenger will be designated among fliers taking a flight in or out of Nanaimo Airport in the next month.
