"The Casagrandes" is a new TV show. The show is about an 11-year-old girl named Ronnie Anne. Ronnie Anne lives in a big city. Her mother, brother and grandmother live with her. They are Mexican-American. This is the first cartoon about a big, Mexican-American family.

Ronnie Anne, her brother and mother move away from a quiet house. They move to a big city. They move in with Ronnie Anne's grandparents. They live in an apartment. The apartment is above a grocery store. Ronnie Anne's grandpa owns the store.

Ronnie Anne likes to skateboard. She has to get used to the new city. There are people from many cultures. She makes friends with people from different cultures. The show is about love, friendship and jealousy.

Mr. Puga's family is Mexican. He is the first person in his family to be a citizen in the U.S. Like Ronnie Anne, he grew up with a large family. They also all lived in one house. His home was always full of family. There were also lots of parties.

Mr. Puga wanted the show to be similar to his life. Mr. Puga's story made the show feel very real. The people who make the TV show liked it.

Lalo Alcaraz makes cartoons. He helped make the movie "Coco." He helps make "The Casagrandes." Mr. Alcaraz made an episode about the "Day of the Dead." The Day of the Dead is a Mexican holiday. Families and friends remember loved ones who have died.

The show is also funny. For example, the family has a talking parrot. Sometimes the parrot gets into trouble.

Most of the time, Ronnie Anne is solving a problem. She often learns a lesson.
