3 PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE NOVEMBER 2020 COURAGE IS LIKE A MUSCLE. WE STRENGTHEN IT BY USE.

Hello Members – I hope this newsletter finds you well. I am writing this on the evening of our Elections. No matter what the outcome, please join me in Prayer that our new leader will have the American People’s priority on their agenda. I read this quote that I have mentioned above and thought it was fitting for this month’s newsletter. With the passing of our Member Glen Corsetti, Sr. never is it truer during these times of Covid and social turmoil that we use our “Courage Muscle” and find strength to get us through these trying and challenging times in our lives. Whether being a new widow, or going through a recovery, or just being cautious every single day in hopes to end the year in good health, have we had to find Courage within ourselves to get through the next moment – never mind the next day. I talk about life’s speedbumps all the time, but the year 2020 has proven to be as large as the SINK HOLE at the National Corvette Museum. STAY STRONG MEMBERS, WE WILL GET THROUGH THIS. Of course, we cannot get through this without thanking those in the FRONT LINES ALWAYS – our Nurses, Doctors, Military and first responders. What would we do without them? Thanksgiving is around the corner. Some of us will be spending it alone or possibly splitting their time between families to make it “SAFE”. This breaks my heart because there is nothing more enjoyable than spending time with your entire family and friends. HOWEVER, we need to be safe! The year 2021 holds HOPE FOR ALL OF US…. we just have to get there as a corvette family. I will miss you all for the President’s Gala Toys for Tots this year – but I am working with the Marines to make something happen. STAY TUNED! Thank you again for those that came out for Glen’s wake. The love and support that this Club shows for our fellow corvette family members is “BAR NONE”. I am looking forward to the time that we can all spend a social together or meeting and talk about how we got through COVID…. My continued prayers for all of you. May you all have a blessed Thanksgiving however your “new normal” is – I hope it is surrounded by LOVE. I am thankful for all of you and for humbling me as your PRESIDENT. God Bless and HAPPY THANKSGIVING. Save the Wave With Angels on Wheels LILIANA V. DOLAN, PRESIDENT
