In Memory of Deanna Blanton

On behalf of the Members of the Sacramento Chapter of NARPM®, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our colleague, Deanna Blanton. Deanna was the Vice President and Director of Marketing for Sacramento Delta where she worked for the past 20 years. She was very active in the Sacramento Chapter, having been a NARPM® Member since 1993. Deanna served on the Board of Directors for several years, including being the Chapter President in 2008. She was a classy woman who had a heart of gold and a good sense of humor. Once when a colleague from another company had not made reservations for the sold-out California State Conference, but decided to go at the last minute, she shared her hotel room with them. They were not good friends, but knew each other through the Chapter. Yet she was willing to help out… the very nature of NARPM®. She will be greatly missed.
