H Q w i—h Z P MISSION The Secretary of the Navy has defined the mission of the Naval Postgraduate School as follows: "To conduct and direct the Advanced Education of commissioned officers, to broaden the professional knowledge of general line officers, and to provide such other indoctrination, technical and professional instruction as may be prescribed to meet the needs of the Naval Service.
