HEADMASTER’S MESSAGE The College's 60th year has been a remarkable one, which I'm quite sure will be borne out by what is written in this year's magazine. The year started with our birthday celebration on Tuesday 4th February, and the opening of the 'Oasis' water feature, by Robert Jackson (FOB 1960 - 1964). He became Minister of Higher Education in the UK in the early 70's. The Oasis was built to commemorate our 60th year and the occasion really did set the tone for the whole year. The event went off without a hitch and with great support from parents, friends of Falcon and the boys. Our first 'Academic Results' assembly also took place on our birthday. This was an innovation which the 'Fuller Report' had suggested we implement and it went off incredibly well. Boys who had done well academically, were rewarded and applauded. We presented many more academic awards this year than we ever have before, as a result of our continuing upsurge in academic MR R W QUERL standards. Headmaster - Falcon College in Kenya.
