CHICAGO BEARS VS. DETROIT LIONS ON WCIU, THE U! WCIU, THE U PARTNERING WITH WGN SPORTS FOR PRE & POST GAME SHOWS
10/6/11 – This Monday night, Chicago turns to WCIU, The U for the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions game! This match-up is broadcast with an exclusive, locally produced pre-game special and a live post-game report. It all begins Monday, October 10, 2011 at 7 PM on WCIU, The U with the ‘AT&T 4G Pre-Game Show.’
“All fans know how important this game is to both teams. To get back in the Division race, the Bears need to beat the Lions. We are excited to bring coverage of the Bears and Lions to the local fans. It will be a full night of football with our pre-game and post-game coverage surrounding this big NFC North rivalry,” said Bob Ramsey, Vice President and General Manager.
At 7 PM, it’s WGN Sports on The U with the ‘AT&T 4G Pre-Game Show.’ WGN’s Dan Roan anchors this live show from Detroit. Kenny McReynolds, Sport Director for The U, takes a look at how the Bears’ community-based efforts have helped reinvigorate the Chicago Pullman neighborhood.
At 7:30, the Detroit Lions and the Chicago Bears take the field.
