SUCCESS IN THE CLASSROOM • Five Texas players earned a spot on the 2016 Academic All-Big 12 Men’s Basketball Team. Prince Ibeh and Danny Newsome were named to the First Team, while Demarcus Holland, Connor Lammert and Isaiah Taylor were selected to the Second Team. UT’s fi ve total selections were the most in the league. • Texas Basketball has received public recognition awards for its multi-year NCAA Division I Academic Progress Rate (APR) in EACH of the last SEVEN years (2010-16).
