Strategic Planning Retreat kicks off F​ Y19 planning cycle

Three Rivers College planning managers gathered recently for the College’s Annual Strategic Planning Retreat. College President Dr. Wesley Payne outlined the 2018-19 strategic planning priorities, which managers will use in developing their goals, action plans, and budgets for FY19.

Dr. Maribeth Payne, Dean of Institutional Effectiveness, led workshop activities to help planning managers develop FY19 goals and measureable objectives based on the new planning priorities.

With the support of the Patrons of the Arts Society and local sponsors, Three Rivers College is bringing children’s theater performances to elementary students throughout the area. The effort is part of our College's mission to provide educational opportunities to the communities we serve.

Three shows are being performed at selected area schools this season by the Imaginary Theatre Company, a part of the Repertory Theatre Company of St. Louis. The Nutcracker was performed in November, Country Mouse & City Mouse in January, and Laura Ingalls Wilder: Voice of the Prairie will be presented in February.

Three Rivers supporter Three Rivers supporter named Citizen of the Year

Three Rivers College supporter Sharon Kissinger (holding plaque) was selected as the Poplar Bluff Chamber of Commerce 2018 Citizen of the Year. Kissinger and her company Kissinger & Kirkman have supported the College through donations and volunteer efforts.

The chamber also honored John Fuller as the 2018 Volunteer of the Year. Fuller is a Three Rivers graduate.
