THE FOURTH ANNUAL TECHNICAL AND OPERATIONAL MEETING OF CASP-AP NEW DELHI, INDIA 17 AND 18 FEBRUARY 2016 ADMINISTRATIVE BULLETIN 1. Dates and Meeting Venue 1.1 The Fourth Annual Technical and Operational Meeting (4th ATOM) of the Cooperative Aviation Security Programme – Asia Pacific (CASP-AP) will be conducted at the Indian Aviation Academy, NIAMAR Society Campus on 17 and 18 February 2016. 1.2 The Indian Aviation Academy, NIAMAR Society Campus, Gurgaon Road, New Delhi-110037, is about 3 Km from Indira Gandhi International Airport. 2. Schedule of Meeting 2.1 The opening session of the Meeting will start at 0900 hours on Wednesday, 17 February 2016, at the Meeting Venue. The daily schedule for the Meeting is from 0900 hours to 1630 hours with a tea / coffee break in the morning and afternoon and a mid-day break for lunch. However, the Presenters / Coordinators may need to vary these times to meet the Meeting requirements. 3. Registration of Participants 3.1 Participants are requested to register at the Meeting Registration Desk located at the Meeting venue between 0830 and 0900 hours on the opening day of the Meeting. Participants are required to wear the identification badges which will be issued to them during registration when attending the Meeting. 4. Passport, visa and customs 4.1 All foreign nationals entering India must possess valid passports or other valid documents for travel. Please be informed that India visa entry processes can be time consuming. In this regard, it is highly recommended to apply for a visa as early as you can. To assist in visa approval, participants should contact Mr. Munindra Nath Chaturvedi on email: [email protected] providing full name, nationality and passport details to gain a covering letter for Visa application, if required. 5. Other Information Language - the official language of India is Hindi with English as an additional language in government. Currency, Credits Cards and Banking Services - the local currency is the rupee (INR), which is divided into 100 paise. Indian Rupees. International credit cards such as American Express, Diners Club, Visa, Master Charge, Carte Blanche, etc, are usually accepted at major hotels, department stores and restaurants. The exchange currency counter open from 1000 to 1600 hours at all leading banks situated at several places in the vicinity/city.
