Will the Minister of RAILWAYS be pleased to state:
(a) the details of on-going/pending railway projects and surveys in Rajasthan at present, project-wise;
(b) the amount allocated for each of the project; and
(c) the time by which these projects are likely to be completed? Answer

(a) to (c) : The details of all on-going Railway projects in Rajasthan, including outlay proposed for 2002-03, for each project, is given in the Appendix-I. Target Date of Completion of projects, wherever fixed, is given in the status of the project.
The details of ongoing surveys in Rajasthan is in the Appendix-II.

Land acquisition papers for first block section Banas- Baniyana and second block section between Baniyana- Nangal Rajawat submitted to State Govt. Work will be taken up once land becomes available. 3 Ajmer- WR 67.00 10.00 Final location Pushker survey is in progress. 4 Ramganj WR 425.00 20.00 Final location Mandi- survey is under Bhopal progress.

5 Viramgam- NR 244.74 15.00 This work was Jodhpur BG sanctioned in 1990- rail route, 91 as a part of Bhildi- Kandla-Bhatinda Samdri GC rail link. The of Samdari- work have been Luni recently defrozen. Funds have been allotted. Preliminary arrangement are being made to take up the work. 6 Phulera- NR 21.46 5.00 The work from Jodhpur- Phulera-Jodhpur has Pipar Road been completed and -Bilara commissioned. The section from Pipar Road to Bilara has been sanctioned as a Material Modification. Due to low operational priority and very light traffic on Pipar Road-Bilara section, work is being regulated as per availability of resources. 7 Luni-Marwar NR 61.25 0.75 The work has been completed. The residual work of block proving with axle counters is in progress and will be completed in 2001-02. 8 Luni-Barmer- NR 283.94 0.10 Earthwork between Munabao Luni-Samdari (50 km) has been completed and is in progress between Samdhari and Barmer. Minor and major bridges are also in progress. It is proposed to take up work in phases from Luni to Samdari, Samdari to Jasai and then Jasai onward. Luni- Samdari-Jassai is targeted for completion during 2002-03. 9 Rewari- NR 282.76 10.86 Necessary Sadulpur clearances have been obtained. Preliminary arrangements are being made to take up the work. 10 Sriganganag NR 68.72 0.01 Work will be taken ar- up after obtaining Sarupsar the requisite clearances. 11 Jodhpur- NR 52.96 0.60 Section open to Luni traffic and handed over. Residual works and financial adjustments are in progress. 12 Phulera- WR 632.35 9.00 Work has been Marwar- completed and Ahmedabad commissioned. Residual works are in progress. 13 Agra Fort- WR 178.03 26.00 Earthwork and Bandikui bridges are in progress. The work is being progressed as per availability of resources. 14 Ajmer- WR 294.69 30.00 In Phase-I, Udaipur- earthwork and Chittaurgar bridge works are in h including progress between material Udaipur and modificatio Chittaurgarth. n for extension from Udaipur to Amra
