Improved Reading and Literacy Service Offer Adult Learning Literacy Classes (Outcomes and  ESOL for Everyday Life reach) Historically we have run lots of ESOL classes at various levels. Take up depends on what is on offer from adult learning programmers and whether they are funded or chargeable.  Functional skills literacy has not historically recruited.  Informal Reading Programme  Historically ran but attendance was an issue. We don't have any current learners but refer if appropriate Reading Ahead  Usually work with New Chapter Learning Disabilities reading group Readers' Groups  Chatterbooks: Reading group for children aged 8 to 12 years. We encourage all abilities and body types, to join our inclusive and non-judgmental classes where no previous yoga experience is needed.'  'Understanding & Supporting Children with Dyslexia': Occasional course, a single session held three times a year. 'The aim of this workshop is to provide learners with an understanding of dyslexia and how it can affect people, learn some key techniques to support children and young people who have dyslexia and learn how to motivate and engage them.'  'Understanding and Supporting Children with ADHD': Occasional course, a single session held three times a year. ' The aim of this workshop is to provide learners with an understanding of ADHD and how it can affect both those with the diagnosis and those living with them, learn key techniques to support children who have ADHD and learn how to encourage and manage the behaviours of children with ADHD.'  'Understanding and Supporting Children with Autism': Occasional course, a single session held three times a year. 'During this workshop learners will discover the causes of Autism as far as these are currently understood and understand the process and benefits of diagnosis. They will also become familiar with relevant legislation & codes of practice whilst discussing some of the challenges and stigmas experienced by individuals experiencing Autism and address any misconceptions. The nationally recognized SPELL framework & some useful approaches to support individuals with Autism will be explored.' We always have at least two ongoing exhibitions, on in the main atrium and another in our café. There is often a third exhibition elsewhere, either a historical one on level two (where archives is based) or a more general exhibition on level 0. All these exhibitions come from a range of sources: private hire, the Uni, WAAS (archive and archaeology) or various funded projects (Arts Council, HLF, Unlocking the Severn).
