Parent-Student Handbook 2020-21 (Index of topics in back) 1 Message from the Principal Dear St. Michael Student, Welcome to 2020-21, our fifth year as a school! This will be a challenging year, as we begin with a set of protocols for Covid19 that are not “normal” for any of us. But maybe that will be good for us. You and I live pretty comfortably, and perhaps this virus will help us better appreciate the blessings of our “normal” lives. In any case, I ask you tackle the year with good cheer. We’re all in this together! We have high aspirations for you. You are a child of God, capable of greatness because of his grace, alive within you! We want you to "go for it," to extend yourself beyond your comfort zone, to delve deeper into your studies, to try out for teams (even if you are not selected), to join new clubs, to serve others in new ways, and to strive for excellence. Ask God to help you! If you do so, we believe you will grow into young men and women who are happy, confident in your future and ready to make a difference in this world! Mr. Weber Principal St. Michael admits students of any sex, race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights and privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. St. Michael does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its employment practices, educational policies, admission policies, scholarship and loan programs, athletic and other school- administered programs.
