A beautiful memory left behind of someone who was good and kind. All Is Well A life made good by kindly deeds and generous thoughts for others needs. Death is nothing at all. I have only slipped away into the next room. I am I and you are you: whatever we were to each other that we are still. Act of Remembrance Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way which you always used. They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old: Put no difference into your tone; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. At the going down of the sun and in the morning Laugh as we always laughed We will remember them. at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Afterglow Let it be spoken without effort, I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one. without the ghost of a shadow on it. I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles Life means all that it ever meant. when life is done. It is the same as it ever was; I’d like to leave an echo there is absolutely unbroken continuity. whispering softly down the ways. What is this death but a negligible accident? Of happy times and laughing times Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? and bright and sunny days.
