Depending on who you ask, Retriever Editorial Staff — you're likely to get a variety of responses. You might even find a few peo- ple who will respond, "Michael Hooker... who is that?" Michael Hooker is, of course, the presi- dent of UMBC. In my three years of writ- m ing and editing for The Retriever, I can think of no other person who has been 3oG£ the subject of more debate than he. As the Arts and Entertainment Editor, I've been asked on several occasions to "nail Hooker's hide to the wall for being the mi fraud that he is." On other occasions, I've m been implored to just go talk to the man, and see what his feelings are, especially 3GoLioGaGoGoG on the Arts and Humanities.
