Tremendous population growth in the area required an influx of hiring, and with that the need to train their new employees. SWATC’s Custom Fit program con - nected the nursery with the Iron County Master Gardeners program offered through the Utah State University exten - sion in Cedar City. Its plant manager, Dave Ulery, is a member of the TATC board of directors. Carlisle-Syntec’s strong commitment to training developed and offered by TATC persuaded Line Production Manager Tara Butler to enroll in several programs.
