Despite existing legislation and an institutional framework to safeguard balanced tourism growth, many destinations fail to properly address it. So far, studies are limited in exploring sustainable tourism impacts from a policy perspective. This study follows previous ones in using the triple bottom line sustainability approach to define tourism impacts. It argues, in particular, for a nexus between understanding of policy perception and sustainability, and it applies this to tourist destinations in Serbia to determine whether they are operating sustainably. For this purpose, the data were collected using a combination of multiple methods, involving interviews with policymakers and content analysis of strategic documents. This study further suggests a model that assesses the extent of the sustainability of tourist destinations. The results illustrate the importance of understanding policy perceptions in shaping and facilitating sustainability and informing policy enablers on how to improve and reform current tourism development. The model can be adopted and applied to any tourist destination facing an inevitable need to re-shape their tourism development plans and policies, while the implications address the need to build a participative policy approach to sustainable tourism development.

    Overview of mycological literature, research and herbaria collections on macro fungi of Serbia with reference list The field guides in south Slavic languages with descriptions taken from foreign mycological literature appeared in the second part of the 20th Century and are still used for mushroom determination in the entire region First field guides for mushroom species determination in southern Slavic languages were written by the very dedicated hobbyists mainly from Slovenia and Croatia, where the culture of collecting and consuming mushrooms was well established (Božac 1989, Focht 1979, 1987, 1988). The keys for determining fungal sporocarps compiled by philosopher Ivan Focht (1979, 1987, 1988) have been the most professional taxonomic literature ever published in the ex Yugoslavia region with the original descriptions from the local findings. Even though he was the only person from ex Yugoslavia listed on the Wikipedia List of mycologists (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_mycologists), Focht himself has never pretended to address to the scientific community - he dedicated his work to the mushroom gatherers (Focht 1987). Hobbyist field books with very basic descriptions, but claimed to be based on findings in Serbia and in Serbian language were published recently (Davidović 2007, Uzelac 2009). The species nomenclature in all these field guides is long outdated, which makes any kind of literature on fungi survey and analysis in Serbia very difficult. The investigations on epigeic fungal diversity in Serbia could be divided in three phases. First published data originate from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the time of kingdoms of Serbia and Yugoslavia, were the lists of species from the defined territory produced by few foreign and domestic authors (Schröter 1890, Simić 1895, 1900, Ranojević 1900, 1902, 1904, 1905a,b, 1910, 1938, Lindtner 1935, Pilat, 1937, Pilat and Lindtner 1938, Litschawer 1939).

  • Rešenje O Ustanovljavanju Ribarskih Područja
    REŠENJE O USTANOVLJAVANJU RIBARSKIH PODRUČJA ("Sl. glasnik RS", br. 90/2015) 1. Na teritoriji Republike Srbije ustanovljavaju se sledeća ribarska područja: 1) Ribarsko područje "Južna Morava 1" Ribarsko područje "Južna Morava 1" ustanovljava se na ribolovnim vodama vodotoka reka: Binačka Morava, Preševska Moravica, Južna Morava od nastanka do ušća Barbeške reke (kod mesta Zaplanjska Toponica), Pčinja, Dragovištica, Jerma, Veternica, Vlasina, reka Jablanica od administrativne granice između opštine Lebane i grada Leskovca do ušća, reka Nišava od državne granice sa Republikom Bugarskom do granice Parka prirode "Sićevačka klisura" i svih ostalih pritoka navedenih reka i drugih prirodnih ili veštačkih ribolovnih voda koje su u granicama ribarskog područja, osim ribolovnih voda u okviru granica zaštićenih područja. Granica ribarskog područja polazi od tromeđe grada Niša, opštine Svrljig i opštine Bela Palanka i ide administrativnom granicom između ove dve opštine do Svrljiškog Timoka i dalje njegovom levom obalom do izvorišta, zatim severnom administrativnom granicom opštine Pirot do državne granice sa Republikom Bugarskom. Granica dalje ide na jug državnim granicama Republike Bugarske i BJR Makedonije, zatim ka severu zapadnim administrativnim granicama opština Preševo, Bujanovac, grada Vranja i grada Leskovca, nastavlja desnom obalom Puste reke do administrativne granice grada Leskovca, dalje prati severnu administrativnu granicu grada Leskovca i opštine Vlasotince, zapadnu administrativnu granicu opština Babušnica i Bele Palanke, do polazne tačke. Ribarsko područje "Južna Morava" prostire se na teritorijama sledećih jedinica lokalnih samouprava: grad Vranje, grad Leskovac, opština Preševo, opština Bujanovac, opština Trgovište, opština Bosilegrad, opština Surdulica, opština Vladičin Han, opština Crna Trava, opština Vlasotince, opština Babušnica, opština Dimitrovgrad, opština Pirot i opština Bela Palanka. Ribarsko područje "Južna Morava 1" koristi se za rekreativni ribolov.

Accepted 31 May, 2013 Cartography is a science which most presents changes over ever increasing modern computer technologies. A computer supported generalisation of water flow sets its goal on the effects and achievements of modern cartography science, also showing the results and the levels of basic manual generalisation, comparing them with the effects of a digital computer supported generalisation. Every newly made map which represents the territory given sets the goal of comparing the data, showing the newly created ones in the best and most efficient way. As far as the very river flow is concerned, it is the very degree of generalisation that matters as it affects the quality of the map itself. Generalisation is only one of the methods which can be used for that purpose as the results can be applied to different forms of digital maps. Following the concrete example of the Sitnica River system, using the GeoMedia 6.1 software, by means of GeoMedia 6.1 professional programme, the whole Sitnica River system is presented through vectors on the grounds of topographic maps in proportion of 1:25000, 1:50000, 1:300000.
