The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) is a system of survey components that collects data from about 6,400 institutions that provide postsecondary education across the United States. These data are used at the federal and state level for policy analysis and development; at the institutional level for benchmarking and peer analysis; and by students and parents, through the College Navigator (https://nces.ed.gov/collegenavigator/), an online tool to aid in the college search process. Additional information about IPEDS can be found on the website at https://nces.ed.gov/ipeds. What Is the Purpose of This Report? The Data Feedback Report is intended to provide institutions a context for examining the data they submitted to IPEDS. The purpose of this report is to provide institutional executives a useful resource and to help improve the quality and comparability of IPEDS data. What Is in This Report? The figures in this report provide a selection of indicators for your institution to compare with a group of similar institutions. The figures draw from the data collected during the 2018-19 IPEDS collection cycle and are the most recent data available. The inside cover of this report lists the pre-selected comparison group of institutions and the criteria used for their selection. The Methodological Notes at the end of the report describe additional information about these indicators and the pre-selected comparison group. Where Can I Do More with IPEDS Data? Each institution can access previously released Data Feedback Reports from 2005 and customize this 2019 report by using a different comparison group and IPEDS variables of its choosing.     CCNUM College Name Status Justification 1 Eastern Florida Adjusted The continued impact of the Covid-19 pandemic makes predicting enrollment with certainty challenging. The data related to high school graduate projections and State College Brevard County population projections provided by the State to Eastern Florida State College (EFSC) have been reviewed carefully in addition to internal data and planned opening of academic program to adjust the State FEP/COFTE projections. The primary reason for adjustments is to account for upper division projections by the Division of Florida Colleges (DFC) that appear to be lower than we anticipate, to account for projected population and high school graduation increases, and efforts to re-engage recent high school graduates who have been more reluctant to start out their college careers amid the uncertainty of the pandemic. EFSC has increased upper division enrollment by more than 10% each of the last three years and we project that increases over the next few years will continue to be strong. This year will mark the opening of the fifth bachelor’s degree program at EFSC which we anticipate will contribute to the continued growth in upper division enrollment. With the exception of RY 2022, the DFC has projected decline in upper division enrollment by more than 2% each year. In addition to this increase adjustment, there are number of factors that in a normal year would support an increase in FTE projected over the DFC projections for the other credit types in the model. These aspects include: • Strong increases in enrollment in baccalaureate programs contributing to some lower division enrollment • Increases in Brevard County high school graduates • Brevard County population increases in the 18-24- and 25-39-year age group However, in the upcoming year we acknowledge that the pandemic continues to cause uncertainty with programs and courses that rely heavily on face-to-face instruction such as our vocational programs and developmental education.

Millaway 1. Call to Order 1.1 Mr. McKnight called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. Invocation 1.2 Mr. Bennett gave the invocation. Pledge of 1.3 Mr. Lewis led those present in the pledge of allegiance to the American Allegiance flag. Welcome to 1.4 Mr. McKnight welcomed Mr. Tony Bennett, vice president, Gulf Coast Guests State College Foundation, Inc., Ms. Julia Merrill, president, Student Government Association; Ms. Hadley Pridgen, chair, Faculty Senate; Ms. Jessica Owens, chair, Professional Employee Council; Dr. Holly Kuehner, vice president, Academic Affairs; Dr. Cheryl Flax-Hyman, vice president, Institutional Effectiveness & Strategic Planning; Dr. Melissa Lavender, vice president, Student Affairs; Mr. John Mercer, vice president, Administration & Finance; and Mr. Glen McDonald, vice president, Strategic Projects & Economic Development. Hearing of 1.5 No citizens answered the call to appear before the board. Citizens 2. Trustee 2.1 Mr. McKnight called on each trustee for comments. Trustees Kirvin, Comments Roberson, and Warriner welcomed everyone to the Gulf Franklin Campus (GFC). Ms. Kirvin stated the campus was one of her favorite places, especially when there is a pinning ceremony. She thanked the GFC staff and Ms. Brzuska for her dedication to her students and programs.

    Program Administrator Report Triumph Gulf Coast Board Meeting March 11, 2021 The Triumph Gulf Coast staff continues regular work with grantees on the implementation of 38 active projects, with one project completed, totaling over $251,000,000. Staff monitors and reviews projects for compliance and processes requests for funds on an ongoing basis, and continues to work with applicants and potential applicants, to review pre-applications, applications and to negotiate agreements. Staff has been collaborating with grantees to maximize corporate decision maker and site selector knowledge of the region’s workforce and site location benefits, including launching an active Triumph Gulf Coast LinkedIn page. The Auditor General and Warren Averett audits have been completed. Pre-Applications As of Friday March 5, Triumph Gulf Coast had received 244 Pre-Applications totaling $1,804,724,620 in requests. Two Pre-Applications were received between January 22 and March 5, 2021. 245 - Florida A&M University, AI and Data Science Edu & Training in Aquaculture, $5,900,000 Okaloosa 246 - Florida State University, Panama City, ASCENT Cybersecurity & New Technologies, $11,500,000 Bay Staff recommends Pre-Applications 245 and 246 as eligible. Applications As of Friday, March 11, 2021, Triumph Gulf Coast had received 97 Applications totaling $667,462,702 in requests.
