Temple elected to defend the north endzone. • Memphis Captain: QB Brady White • Temperature: overcast, 50 degrees, winds NNE at 12 MPH • Official Kickoff:11:05 a.m. • Attendance:10,321 GENERAL NOTES • The Tigers improved to 28-3 in home games since Silverfield joined the Memphis staff in 2016. • Memphis has won 12 consecutive games at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium. • The Tigers are also 3-0 at home with Ryan Silverfield as head coach. • Memphis improved to 3-3 all-time against Temple. • The Tigers improved to 39-20 in conference games since joining the league in 2013 . • Memphis tallied 489 total yards of offense (313 pass, 176 rush). • The Tigers featured a 100-yard rusher (Rodrigues Clark, 106) and a 100-yard receiver (Calvin Austin III, 184). • The Tigers registered four turnovers and yielded 24 points off those takeaways. • The four Memphis turnovers marked the first time the Tigers tallied four takeaways in a game since 2018 (vs UConn). • Memphis converted both of its 4th down conversion attempts.
