The following plan of action chalked out by the IQAC in the beginning of the year 2011 – 12 towards quality enhancement. 1. To get the approval of 12 B from UGC.
2. Decorate the class rooms, auditorium hall and college campus.
3. Purchase the reference books, new journals and magazines in the library.
4. To start job oriented course.
5. To increase the faculty members to participate in workshop, seminar, conference and Educational programmes.
6. Increasing the faculty member to take up the research work.
7. Motivating to the students to participate in the state and national level sport tournament and social, cultural activities.
8. To organize Seminar and Workshop up to University and State level.
9. To purchase the Xerox Machine for official work.
10. Purchase a new cupboards for Library and Office.
11. Purchase the musical instrument.
12. To purchase the Biometric Attendance System for the staff.
13. To reaccredit of college from NACC.

The outcomes achieved by the college of above plan at the end of the year 2011-
12 are as under.
1. Solapur University, Solapur is not approved for 12 B from U. G. C , therefore the college could not get 12 B approval. The college got the approval of 2F from the U.G.C. on 7th Dec, 2006.
2. Auditorium hall is work in progress. It will be completed within few days.
3. As per the requirement, the college has purchased new reference books worth Rs. 29901/- in this academic year.
4. Due to the lack of girl students we have not restart the Montessori teacher’s training course.
5. For the update knowledge the teachers are participated is seminars, workshop, conferences, refresher and orientation programmes. As a result the teachers are not only participate but also they are presented their research paper in seminars and conferences.
6. So many teachers doing research their research activities and M. Phil and Ph.D degree. One faculty member worked on M. Phil and four faculty members worked on Ph.D. degree.
7. The department of Physical Education encourages students to play at various level competition. As a result our four students selected for University level competition in this academic year.

8. Our auditorium hall is incomplete that is why we are not organize the workshop and seminar at university level in this academic year but it will be organize in the next year.
9. The college has purchased Xerox cum scanning and fax machine of Rs.24481/- for official use in the academic year.
10. The College has purchased the cupboards for office and library worth Rs.66,488/- in this academic year.
11. The college has purchased musical instrument worth Rs.20500/- for students in this academic year.
12. The college has purchased Biometric Attendance System for the staff of worth Rs.17815/- & CCTV Camera Rs. 32375/- in this academic year.
13. Our RAR is ready to submit for NACC and it will be submit within few days. After this completion of process, we will reaccredit the college from NACC.

PART – B
1. Activities reflecting the goals and objectives of the institution. Following activities performed by the college in this academic year.
A) Cultural Activities :- Cultural department began celebrating the birth anniversary of Rajarshri chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj in this academic year. It celebrated various anniversaries in this academic year like Lokmanya Tilak, Annabhau Sathe, Dr.Radhkrishnan, Mahatma Gandhi, Swami Vivekanand, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule, Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar etc. Our cultural departmental began with inauguration function by a short film maker and director Mr. Nagraj Manjule who won ‘Rashtriya Rajatkamal’ and ‘Damani Award’. On this occasion we saw a short film named ‘Pistulya’. Our college students participated in Youth Festival of Solapur University, Solapur in various activities such as eloquence, poetry reading, story telling, queeze competiton, debating, classical song, Rangoli, place painting, street play etc. In this youth festival we won second rank possession in queeze competiton. Our student Parekar Bajrang, Pathak Deepak and Waghchaure Bharat, represent of the college and they also select for Inter zone Youth festival competitotn. Our faculty member Dr.S.M. Waghmode worked as a team manager for Inter zone competiton at M.L. Sukhadiya University, Rajasthan on 5 Dec to 9 Dec, 2011. There were 40 students participated in various activities. Three activities got prize and they selected for National Youth festival. Our Vice Chancellor Dr. Babasaheb Bandgar and former MLA shri Subhash Deshmukh felicite those students and Dr. S.M. Wagmode as a team manager. The department celebrate the day of Information and Technology on 20th Aug, 2011. Shri B.M. Bhosale, Co-ordinator of Solapur University in E-learning project attended this occasion. 26th Nov, 2011 we celebrate ‘Sanvidhan Day’ with Dr. S.M. Waghmode delivered his lecture to the faculty members.

B) Sport Activities :- Department of sport and game played a vital role in shaping the minds of students by developing the positive attitude among the player students. The department of sports practices volley-ball, kho - kho, kabaddi, athletics, soft ball, cricket, wrestling etc. It supplies modern materials. It organizes lectures to get knowledge direction. The department of sport practices them as per the syllabus of B.A.I to progress knowledge. Students who need to the recruitment of police are also guided and supplied necessary materials for the practice. With the guidance of solapur university, the department conducted pratical examination of ten marks for B.A.I in this academic year. Through this activities our four students selected university level competition.
C) NSS Unit :-
As mentioned in our mission, ‘to create Environment social awareness by exposing students to various activities’, through our NSS unit we organized following programmes in this academic year. a) Celebration of N.S.S. day on 24th sept, 2011. On this occasion we are doing ‘tree plantation.’ b) One volunteer, Kadam Avinash Rohidas selected Megha Summer National Camp held at Sinhagad technical education society lonawala Pune on 18th June to 29th June, 2011. c) Programme Officer A.M. Munguskar and two volunteers participated in the survey of ‘Asar 2011.’ d) The department of NSS of solapur university has run ‘Save Daughter Abhiyan’ in this academic year. Through this activity our volunteers performed ‘Pathnatya’ (Road show) in the village of kedgaon, chikhalthan and Jeur.

e) Our NSS unit awarded third rank award with Rs.7000/- and certificate from Hon.Laxmanrao Dhobale (Guardian Minister) and shri. Gokul Maware (District Collector) on 10/03/2012 for ‘Muli Wachwa Abhiyan Lakshya 2013’. This activity has run with the collaboration of District organizing committee and Nehru Yuva centre, solapur. f) Programme officer shri Mungushkar A.M. participated in orientation course between 14/11/2011 to 19/11/2011 organising by Ahamadnagar college, Ahamadnagar with the collaboration of Govt. of India and Yuvak kalyan, New Delhi. g) Our N.S.S. department implemented so many activities such as, Dnyanjyoti Rally with eight volunteers, participated in Disaster Management with four volunteers. h) Special Camp :- Fifty volunteers participated in special camp held at Solapur University Solapur between 22 Dec to 28 Dec 2012. The motto of the special camp is ‘Nirogi Bhartasathi Nirogi Yuvak’, with so many activities such as tree plantation, cleanness, lectures on population, environment, personality development etc. The cultural programmes arranged in the special camp. i) State level camp :- Four volunteers and programme officer participated in state level camp in 10th Feb to 16th Feb, 2012 at Solapur University, Solapur. The special camp organized by Higher Education department of Maharashtra govt. and Solapur University N.S.S. department. The motto of this camp was ‘Youth for Enviornment’. Our volunteer Walekar Suraj Dattatray got second rank award with certificate for best ‘Group Leader’. Our volunteer

Suryawanshi Madhav Limbraj awarded second rank for ‘Report writing’ in this special camp. The department of N.S.S. fill the form of voter and fill the form of Sampurna Swachhat’a Abhiyan with the collaboration of Zila Parishad, Solapur and Panchayat Samiti, Karmala.
D) Internal Evalution :- Internal exam department held the preliminary examination of hundred marks between 27th feb 2012 to 3rd Mar, 2012 of B.A.III. Every subject teacher has been taken four assignments in the year. The first semester with two assignments and the second semester with two assignments. They also held tests, seminars, topic discussions and revision of syllabus.
E) Literary Association :- The college run three following literary association. 1) Marathi Vangamay Mandal (Marathi literary Association) :- Mandal collects the poems, articles, jokes, thoughts etc. from the students. The selected material published in the college magazine ‘Karmayogi’. The material was displayed in wall paper i.e. ‘Ankur’ in notice board.
2) Hindi Sahitya Mandal (Hindi literary Association) :- Hindi sahitya Mandal organized the various competitions such as poetry reading, eloquence, debating etc. on the occasion of 14th sept as a ‘Hindi Din’. On the same day, they published a wall paper with the name of ‘Darpan’. The collection of poems, articles, shero-shayri, charoli etc. published in the college magazine ‘Karmayogi’.

3) English literary Association :- English literary association has been run from the last seven year’s. With this association we collect articles, poems, essays, jokes etc. from the students. The selected material published in the college magazine ‘Karmayogi’. We encourage the students for taking participation in every activities of the college. In the last year we are organized a programme of easy writing and gave the prizes for these students who has number first, second and third.
F) Staff Academy :- The staff academy endeavors in enchancing versality of the faculty by organizing lectures and open discussion to encourage inter disciplinary interaction in the teaching faculty on the latest development in the various branches of knowledge of their academic enrichment. G) Competitive Exam Study Centre :- Keeping in the mind that today’s world is the world of competition, we prepare our students for various competitive examinations. In this academic year, those students who want to admission in competitive examination, they got admission in competitive exam study centre. We organized the lectures of experts in this academic year. Our centre runs on the basis of free cost. The centre guided to the students of many competitive examination

such as UPSC, MPSC, Staff Selection, Bank Recruitment, Railway Recruitment, Police Recruitment etc. H) Nature Guard Club :- To inculcate the effect of increasing pollution to student’s the college has established ‘Nature Guard club’. Interested students (boys and girls) were involved in these activities. With the collaboration of NSS unit and Nature Guard club we arranged the programme of tree plantation on the new ground of college. On that time we informed to the students about tree plantation, environmental pollution, saving fuel, the growth of temperature, the reducing capacity of ozone etc.
I ) Night Study Circle :- Many students of our college are from poor families and need not have any facilities of studying at home. So under this activity the college provided well electric classroom at night for the study. The night study circle began in the month of February. The supervision is done by our faculty members. For this purpose time table was also prepared. The night study circle opened between 7.00 p. m to 10.00 p.m. known period from February to April.
J ) Tour Department :- Seeing is the believing hence as per the guidelines of Solapur University, the college organized a tour of Nasik - Trimbakeshwar – Saptshrungi – Saputara (Gujrat) – Shirdi – Shingnapur - Devgarh- Aurangabad – Daulatabad – Verul – Paithan - Jayakwadi project on 24 Jan to 28 Jan 2012.
K ) Prospects of the college (i.e. Information Brouture) :- Following information is included in the prospect. 1. Details of the courses taught in the college. 2. Rule for the admission and necessary documents for admission.

3. List of the compulsory and special subjects for the courses. 4. Details of university and internal examination. 5. Details of extra - curricular activities, scholarship etc. 6. Rules of Discipline. 7. Instruction to the parents / guardians. 8. Details of prizes given by the faculty members.
L) Admission in the college :- Faculty of Arts :- During the academic year 2011-12 admission given to the students on the basis of ‘first come first serve’. The intake capacity of each class is 120 but above the capacity we took prior permission of Solapur University for the admission.
M) Teaching Plan :- 1. Each department can take teaching plan from respective teacher. 2. Teacher can submit month-wise planning to respective Head. 3. Teaching plan can be done according to the academic calendar.
N ) Attendance of the Students :- Every teacher keep attendance of students of the lecture. All attendance sheets were collected by the Head of the department of each subject and handover to the Head of the attendance committee. Irregular students were informed from time to time by the teacher.
O) Grievance Redressal Cell :- Grievance Redressal cell has been run in our college. The chairman of this committee is our principal. If there is a complaint we dicussed in meeting and take solution on it. The cell has been established with the co-operation of two class representatives and some faculty members. The meeting of the committee held within fifteen days in month.

P) Anti Sexual Harressment Cell :- Women Empowerment Cell :- With the collaboration of this cell and cultured department we celebrate the birth aniversary of Savitribai Phule with the heading ‘Balika Din’. On this particular day the student’s delivered their lectures on the work of Savitribai Phule. For encouragement to women the cell organized a meeting of girl students on 15th sept, 2011 and 14th Jan, 2012 on the physical and mental problems of girls in teen age. Dr. Sharda Surana advised them in this particular subject.

3) Innovation in curriculum Design and Transaction :- In the academic year 2011-12 Mr. Munguskar A.M. as a paper setter in the subject of psychology for B.A.II. Dr. Waghmode S.M. also as a paper setter of History for M.A. semester III & IV.

5) Examination reforms implemented :- As per the norms of UGC and the guidelines of Solapur University, Solapur we implemented the annual examination with total marks of hundred for the B.A.III. Our university started newly pattern i.e. semester and we implemented the examination of semester I, II, III & IV from the last two years.

6) Candidates qualified - NET/SLET/GATE etc. Our alumni Mr.Hemant Gavhane pass SET exam in this academic year in the subject of Marathi.

25) Computerization of administration and the process of admissions and Examination results, issue of Certificates :- Pay bill, Income Tax calculation, enrollment of the students and all the work of examinations were worked by the help of computer.
26. Increase in infrastructure facilities :- We have tried to build multipurpose auditorium hall.
27. Technology up gradation :- We are buying following technology up gradation in this academic year. 1) Xerox-cum-scanning machine 2) Printer 3) Biometric attendance system machine
28. Computer and internet access and training to teachers and students : The college teachers uses the internet for various purposes i.e. information about U.G.C, syllabus of various classes, G.R’s of U.G.C. / Maharashtra and central government.
29. Financial aid to students :- The college provided financial aid to students from students aid fund & poor boys fund. Our teachers rewards to the topper students for the purpose of inspiration. The college provided many scholarships from Maharashtra Govt, India Government such as Government of India scholarship to SC, ST, VJNT, OBC category students.

30. Activities and support from the Alumni Association :- The college Alumni Association organized ‘Alumni Melawa’ for their self inspiration and college development. In this melawa they discussed the college development and obstacles of the college. We felicitate the dignitaries of alumni in this melawa.
31. Activities and support from the parent teacher Association :- We have started parent teacher Association in this academic year. Association organized the meeting of parents and they discussed on various issues.
32. Health Service :- With the collaboration of NSS unit and the department of Health Centre organized a medical camp for college student. On this particular day 50students (boys and girls) checked their health with the co- operation of Primary Health Centre.
33. Performance in sport Activities :- Department of sports and Game played a vital role in shaping the minds of students by developing the positive attitude among the player students. In this academic year the department of sports played very important role participating in various competition of individual and team games. 1) Walekar Suraj Dattatray selected in kabaddi team of solapur university and participated as a university player in interuniversity competition at Bhopal (M.P.). 2) Kudale Yashwant Baban and Bhanwase Ganesh Raosaheb selected in Handball team of Solapur university and participated as a university player in inter- university competition at Jaipur (Rajasthan).

3) Shelke Nitin Balbhim and Jankar Birudeo Jagnath selected in Malkhamb team of solapur university and participated as a university player in inter-university competition at Amritsar (Punjab). 4) Kothawale Sanjay, Kudale Yashwant, Kothawale Sagar, Sali Mahesh, Shingade Pravin, Sali Umesh, Lawale Vikas participated in Athletics held at Balewadi (Pune). 5) Shingade Pravin rewarded third rank in pole vault in Solapur university. 6) Pol Vikas Babasaheb got third possession in 50 kg. wrestling in solapur university.
34. Incentives to outstanding persons :- The college select particular students as player and organizes some workshops. It organizes different lectures for them to get knowledge about sport materials and others. It organizes competition with another team. The college also supplies dresses, travelling allowances, sports equipments etc. It honours them giving cash rewards and trophies on the time of annual social gathering.
35. Students achievements and awards :- Our alumni Mr. Bhanwase Navnath got first rank possession at B.A. Part III in History in solapur university.
36. Activities of Guidance and Counseling unit :- For MPSC, UPSC and Staff Selection examination we prepare our students by giving them timely information about examination. We provide them necessary coaching. In our college, there is a separate competitive examination cell. With the collaboration of Counseling Centre and Career Guidence Cell, we solve the problems of students in education, domestic, social, economic and professionally etc.

37. Placement services provided to students :- Our college is single faculty i.e. arts faculty, There is no science faculty. So there is no separate placement cell in our college.
38. Development programmes for Non-teaching staff :- We inspired to the non-teaching staff for increasing their qualifications and participating in workshops and seminars. As a result our Head Clerk Mr. Satav K.B. and our Junior Clerk Mr. Nirmal D.D. participated in orientation course held at university of Pune with the collaboration of U.G.C.
39. Healthy practices in the Institutions :- For students, over all personally development, there is a student welfare committee which looks after any difficulty and in case of staff there is a staff welfare committee which looks after the problems and barriers faced by the staff while performing the task as well as in domestic matter. It encourages the students of Student Council, Cultural department, Nature Guard club, Career Guidence cell, competitive examination department etc. to participate in various programme plannings and decision processes. Moral, Disciplinary and Advice department is working in this college for offering valuable education.

Banne, Mr. T.H. Aghav and Mr. A.V. Dalvi attended International seminar in their respective subjects in this academic year.

3) Mr. S.A. Kadam (Asst.prof.on English) has registered his name for Ph.D. degree in this academic year. 4) Asst. Prof. R.V. Patil participate in Refresher course in English held at Hydrabad University, Hydrabad. 5) Asst. prof. Dalvi A.V., Dr. P.G. Banne published their research paper in ISBN magazine in their particular subject i.e. Geography and Hindi. 6) Mr. S.P. Choudhari has selected as a vice-President of Solapur University Teachers Association without opposition. 7) The college team won one prize in ‘Youth festival of solapur university, solapur in queeze competition. The team of this queeze competition selected for Inter university, Which is held at Jaipur in Rajasthan. 8) Annual prize distribution and social gathering were organized between Jan 8, 2012 to Jan 10th 2012. The cultural activities performed by the students on the same occasion. 9) The result of Annual Examination are very standard. 10) Our three alumni has passed M.P.S.C. examination in this academic year. They are selected for P.S.I. in Maharashtra Govt.
