    Dave Thornton Stand Up Comedian / Presenter / Broadcaster Dave Thornton has built a global reputation for his honest, engaging, whip-smart and damn funny comedy. His solo stand-up debut performance at the 2007 Melbourne International Comedy Festival garnered a nomination for ‘Best Newcomer’ for his show Euromission and he has returned to the Comedy Festival each year since, his most recent 2019 show Lean Into It was a smash hit both in Melbourne and around the country. Dave’s TV credentials include hosting a series of Channel 9’s 20 to 1, appearances ABC TV’s Spicks and Specks and Agony Uncles, Network Ten’s Hughesy We Have a Problem and regularly appearing as a fill-in host on The Project. He’s even tried his hand at acting, appearing in Channel Nine’s House Husbands and ABC TV’s Upper Middle Bogan. Pretty much any gig where there’s catering, Dave will be there.
