4 Oregon Women’s Basketball Game Notes | 2018-19 A PROVEN WINNER - HEAD COACH KELLY GRAVES

Kelly Graves is in his fifth season at the helm of the Oregon women’s basketball program. He was named the seventh head coach in program history on April 7, 2014. Graves signed a contract extension with the Ducks on April 6, 2017 which will keep him in Eugene through the 2022-23 campaign.

Graves enters the 2018-19 season with a record of 93-47 in his time with the Ducks and a 520-249 overall head coaching mark over 25 seasons, which includes three years at Big Bend CC. He is 475-209 all-time as a Div. I head coach (Saint Mary’s, Gonzaga and Oregon). As a head coach, Graves has won 11 regular season conference championships and reached the NCAA Tournament 10 times. He boasts three career trips to the Elite Eight and two other Sweet 16 appearances. His teams have won 20-plus games in 11 of the last 12 seasons and 16 total times. Graves has coached seven All-Americans, including three-time selections Courtney Vandersloot (Gonzaga) and Jillian Alleyne (Oregon).

The 2017-18 campaign will always be a special one, as Oregon won its third ever Pac-12 regular season championship and the first Pac-12 Tournament title in program history. Graves and the Ducks went a program-record 33-5 on the season, including a record 16-2 in league play. The Ducks clinched the title over Stanford by sweeping the Arizona schools on the road in the final weekend of the regular season. Oregon also topped Stanford, 77-57, in the tournament championship game at KeyArena in Seattle.
