Even today many of the original Indiana natives remain with Braun Racing and the TRIMSPA Team, including: mechanic Tab Smith, parts director Bobby Blount, car chief Mike McCoige, and Braun Racing driver Chad Blount. ÂIRP is definitely a big deal for Braun Racing, said Stremme, driver of the TRIMSPA X32 Dodge. ÂNot only do we have homes and family back there, but Todd (Braun) still has his two car dealerships there, and his fatherÂs business, Braun Corp, is also in Winamac. Just as Braun Racing is at home in the state of Indiana, David Stremme is very much at home at the tight IRP short track; Stremme won there in 2002 in his rookie year of driving in the American Speed Association®.
