Team owner Todd Braun and driver David Stremme are Indiana natives who reunited in the Busch® Series ranks after having competed against each other at local short tracks like Plymouth and New Paris. Indianapolis, IN (PRWEB) August 8, 2004 -- David Stremme and the TRIMSPA X32 Dodge head to Indianapolis Raceway Park® , the only NASCAR® Busch® Series race in Braun RacingÂs home state of Indiana, for this SaturdayÂs Kroger® 200. Team owner Todd Braun and driver David Stremme are Indiana natives who reunited in the Busch® Series ranks after having competed against each other at local short tracks like Plymouth and New Paris. Braun Racing was originally headquartered in Winamac, Indiana until late 2002, when they moved what was then a winning ARCA® program to Mooresville, North Carolina. Even today many of the original Indiana natives remain with Braun Racing and the TRIMSPA Team, including: mechanic Tab Smith, parts director Bobby Blount, car chief Mike McCoige, and Braun Racing driver Chad Blount. ÂIRP is definitely a big deal for Braun Racing, said Stremme, driver of the TRIMSPA X32 Dodge. ÂNot only do we have homes and family back there, but Todd (Braun) still has his two car dealerships there, and his fatherÂs business, Braun Corp, is also in Winamac. Just as Braun Racing is at home in the state of Indiana, David Stremme is very much at home at the tight IRP short track; Stremme won there in 2002 in his rookie year of driving in the American Speed Association®. He has also visited victory lane at IRP in the Kendall Late Model Series in 2000. ÂI am really looking forward to some good short track racing this weekend, said Stremme. ÂIRP is a track I am very comfortable driving because I have had a lot of laps there. Stremme and Team TRIMSPA will compete in the Kroger 200 at Indianapolis Raceway Park, just down the road from the famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway, on Saturday, August 7th. The event will be televised live at 8 p.m. eastern time on TNT and on radio stations affiliated with Motor Racing Network (MRN) and XM Satellite Radio Channel 144. TRIMSPA®, a Cedar Knolls, New Jersey company is the maker of TRIMSPA® X32, the leader in weight- loss supplements. TRIMSPA is a key sponsor in the NASCAR®, racing circuit through Braun Racing, supported various events and has worked with numerous charitable organizations including the Millennium Women's Foundation, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation®, American Cancer Society®, and Make-A-Wish Foundation®. TRIMSPA®, has helped celebrities like Anna Nicole Smith and heavyweight boxer Shannon Briggs lose weight.
