International Day Of Yoga celebrated in Mesaieed

The Embassy of India and Indian Sports Centre (ISC) recently celebrated the fourth International Day of Yoga in Al Reem Club, Mesaieed, where around 100 yoga practitioners from diff erent expatriate communities were present. An artistic yoga presentation was demonstrated by Ashish, Vandana and Vikash. The presentation was followed by a session based on the common yoga protocol, comprising various standing, sitting postures, pranayama and breathing techniques. The meditation session was conducted by Nisha Agrawal. Nilangshu Dey, ISC President, welcomed the participants and said that the celebration was conducted for the first time in Mesaieed to promote yoga among the residents of Mesaieed Industrial City. Khalid Fakhroo, Senior Recreational Supervisor of Qatar Petroleum, was the chief guest on the occasion. He emphasised the benefits of yoga.
