Overview

On day 1, you will be transferred from Maun Airport by road, to Boteti River Camp (+- 2hours), an oasis at the edge of Makgadikgadi National Park. This camp is set beside Khumaga Village and within reach of Nxai Pan National - a perfect escape to explore the vast open landscapes of this semi-arid area. You will spend two nights at camp - a perfect base from which to experience not only the fauna and flora of this area but also the traditional lifestyle of the Khumaga community.

With a delightful charm to it, Boteti River Camp offers an exceptional place of comfort and relaxation near two prime wildlife areas – Makgadikgadi National Park which has phenomenal wildlife as well as where one gets to visit the famous Baines Baobab trees.

The property features 8 en - suite chalets with open air shower, three of which are family units, a platform en - suite tent, 8 campsites, a swimming-pool, a dining area and bar with an upstairs viewing deck overlooking the Boteti River that invites you to wait for the elephants or the occasional to come and drink. The rooms provide a warm homely feel, comfy beds and bright African print detail.

After breakfast on day 3, you will be transferred by road to Mochaba Crossing Lodge (+- 3hours) which is conveniently located at the edge of the amazing Moremi Game Reserve and the Okavango Delta; set to fulfil the needs of anyone looking to explore these areas in comfort. With a stay of three nights you have the opportunity to visit the Okavango Delta and do a mokoro excursion, a great way to appreciate the aquatic fauna and flora of the well renowned water system from a different perspective as well as enjoy a full game drive in Moremi Game Reserve.

The property features 7 en-suite rooms – one of which is a family unit, making it ideal for families, 4 en-suite tents, 5 standard tents, a swimming-pool, a dining area and bar. For that adventurous traveler we also have 6 campsites. Each campsite features a fire place and shared water and power point. The campsite area has shared ablutions which are also accessible for guests staying in standard tents.

On day 6, you will be dropped off at Maun airport (30 minute drive) for your transfer in a light aircraft from Maun to Kasane before driving westward along the famous to reach Chobe Elephant Camp.

Situated on a rocky ridge overlooking the spectacular Chobe River Floodplains, Chobe Elephant Camp offers ample opportunities to explore the wild surroundings while providing a stunning viewpoint onto one of Botswana’s prime destinations.

Entirely built from the red Kalahari sands that dominate the northern part of Botswana, this eco- friendly lodge presents an original design reminiscent of traditional African farmsteads and can accommodate up to 36 guests in fourteen twin/double chalets and two family units. All rooms are en-suite with both indoor and outdoor showers and have private verandas to fully enjoy the views and surroundings. The lodge also boasts a large open-plan main area featuring a cosy arrangement of couches, bar, dining area and reading corner, along with a swimming pool with a view of the floodplain.

You will have plenty opportunities to enjoy the regions' spectacular wildlife during game drives, boat cruises, and get introduced to the local cultures with excursions to nearby villages.

After breakfast on day 8, you will be transferred to Victoria Falls Zimbabwe (+- 3 hours including border crossing) where you will spend two nights at Pioneers. Located in the quiet residential area of Victoria Falls, 2km from town and 2.5km from the Falls Pioneers offers both indoor and outdoor dining, a cozy lounge, and a beautiful terrace opening onto the gardens and pool area.

The lodge has 50 well-appointed rooms designed in an elegant, classic style, with guest comfort being the main emphasis making it the perfect place to end this adventure! There are a variety of exciting activities that you could book while at the lodge to fully indulge in the magic of Victoria Falls, such as bungee jumping, white water rafting, a tour of the falls, a visit to the crocodile park to name a few.

Day 10 marks the end of your adventure – after breakfast you will be dropped off at Victoria Falls Airport.

Travelling to the prime wildlife areas of Makgadikgadi National Park, Moremi Game Reserve, Chobe National Park and Victoria Falls you get the opportunity to experience scenic beauty, exceptional vast fauna and flora as well as various cultures. Jump on a game viewer and get introduced to the stunning protected wildlife areas at hand by one of our immensely experienced local guides. Subject to camp schedule, Boteti River Camp, Mochaba Crossing and Chobe Elephant Camp offer game drives in Makgadikgadi National Park, Nxai Pan National Park, Moremi Game Reserve and Chobe National Park. Further to this you may get the opportunity to do a mokoro excursion in the Okavango Delta and a boat cruise on Chobe River.

On a daily basis you will wake up just as the sun rises, be sure not to miss this scenic canvas of the African sky! You will then have early breakfast before heading off to your first activity of the day. Lunch is served around noon (approximately) and you will be able to enjoy some leisure time until you depart for your afternoon activity (15:30 or 16:00 depending on season). You will be back at camp in time for an authentic safari dinner.

Please note that these are just guidelines for what is possible at each camp. All property activities operate on a shared vehicle basis, full day safari activities are on request prior to arrival. Though camp schedule can be flexible, terms and conditions apply.
