Although you are encouraged to visit both fair locations depending on your interests, please follow the dismissal instructions provided after the president’s address. During the fair, a buffet lunch will be served. Admitted students: For your classroom assignment, please refer to the ticket you received at check-in. If you have lost your ticket, you can go to Room 110 in Keating Hall. For Parents and Guests Only | Rose Hill Gymnasium University administrators address common questions about next steps before enrolling, what to expect over the summer, and how to prepare your student for college. During this session only, you can text your question for the panel to 718-395-2230. Late arrivers can check in at the Information Desk located just outside the cafeteria on the first floor of the McGinley Center. Admission counselors are available to provide directions and answer your individual questions. Between 9:30 a.m. and 4:15 p.m., you can find a counselor at the Information Desk in the McGinley Center. During the fairs, admission staff will also be at an Information Desk inside the Lombardi Center Fieldhouse. Financial aid staff will be available to conduct individual counseling sessions with those who attend the 11 a.m. financial aid presentation. If you have any remaining questions at the end of the presentation, we will provide instructions for reserving an appointment. Usually, all those who want an appointment are able to receive one. Luggage may be stored and will be attended until 4:15 p.m. at the Information Desk in the McGinley Center. Complimentary dining options are available throughout the day. Coffee, juice, and water will be offered from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. as you check in at Bepler Commons. Lunch, including sandwiches, hot dogs, and snacks, will be offered from 1 to 2:50 p.m. during the fairs in the Lombardi Center Fieldhouse and the McGinley Center. As an alternative at any point during the day, visitors can purchase food or drink in the cafeteria (flat rate) or at retail outlets around campus (à la carte). Campus tours depart at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. from Bepler Commons in Faber Hall. Afternoon tours depart at 2 p.m. from Murphy Field (just outside the Lombardi Center Fieldhouse) and at 4 p.m. from the patio outside the McGinley Center. Each tour lasts approximately 50 minutes and is led by a member of the Rose Hill Society, our all-volunteer student ambassador organization. A residence hall will be visited during the campus tours. If you would like to see multiple residence halls on your own, the following buildings will be open between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. and between 1 and 3 p.m.: Queen’s Court, Alumni Court South, Loschert Hall, Martyrs’ Court, and Loyola Hall. Staff will be at the main entrance of these locations to provide a tour and answer your housing questions. All visitors are welcome to attend Mass at 11 a.m. or 5 p.m. in the University Church. Get your photo taken with the Fordham Ram mascot from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Lombardi Center Fieldhouse. Join the Fordham Ram Scavenger Hunt! First, take a picture of any ram on campus— artwork, doorknobs, sculptures, signs, or other depictions. Then post it on social media using #Fordham4Me. Finally, show our staff at the McGinley Center Information Desk and receive a Fordham prize while they last! Before You Go Fordham publications, such as class profiles and viewbooks, are available at the Information Desk in the McGinley Center. The University bookstore is located in O’Hare Hall, adjacent to the parking garage, and is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Today’s visitors will receive a 10-percent discount on regularly priced school spirit items.
