Presseaussendung 21.03.2021 22:53, Andreas Kronlachner Predator Championship League Pool Österreichs Billard Stars Jasmin und Albin Ouschan freuen sich auf die Fortsetzung des internationalen Sport-Betriebs. Das Geschwister Duo erhielt einen Startplatz bei der Predator Championship League Pool, die vom 22. ? 29.

  • Women Deliver – Cartoon Book
C A R T O O N S F O R A N D A B O U T E V E R Y W O M A N s Liza Donnelly makes clear in her introduction to this volume, cartoons are often designed to make us smile, but they don’t always make us laugh. The cartoons in this volume deal with Aserious subject matters: gender equality, human rights, the education of women and girls, and the role of women around the globe. WOMEN DELIVER Women may be key to cultural stability and economic prosperity, but cultural traditions sometimes lag behind this realization. The cartoons here, which make up the exhibition organized by Women Deliver for their May 2013 global conference in Kuala Lumpur, help us to see cultural taboos and injustices from artists who are living and experiencing these traditions. The cartoonists come from Australia, Colombia, Ecuador, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, Holland, Iran, Japan, Palestine, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Women Deliver, The World Receives offers cartoon art that “crosses language borders and shows us our shared humanity.” Liza Donnelly, who collected the cartoons published here is a contract cartoonist with the New Yorker and a weekly columnist/cartoonist for Forbes.com and Women’s Enews. She has traveled around the world as a cultural envoy for the US State Department, speaking about freedom of speech, cartoons and women’s rights. Women Deliver is a global advocacy organization launched in 2007 that brings together voices from around the world to call for improved health and wellbeing for girls and women.

  • Chem2dmat 2019 Abstract Book
foreword On behalf of the Organising and the International Scientific Committees we take great pleasure in welcoming you to Dresden (Germany) for the 2nd edition of the European Conference on Chemistry of Two-Dimensional Materials (chem2Dmat2019). During the last years, the chemistry of graphene has played an ever-increasing role in the large-scale production, chemical functionalization and processing as well as in numerous applications of such material, and it has been expanded to various new 2D inorganic and organic materials. This conference aims at providing a forum to the rapidly growing community of scientists mastering the chemical approaches to 2D materials in order to fabricate systems and devices exhibiting tunable performance. The chemical approach offers absolute control over the structure of 2D materials at the atomic- or molecular-level and will thus serve as enabling strategy to develop unprecedented multifunctional systems, of different complexity, featuring exceptional physical or chemical properties with full control over the correlation between structure and function. The 2nd edition of chem2Dmat will cover all areas related to 2D materials' chemistry spanning their synthesis as well as their functionalization, using covalent and non-covalent approaches, for composites, foams and coatings, membranes, (bio-)sensing, (electro- and photo-)catalysis, energy conversion, harvesting & storage, electronics, nanomedicine and biomaterials. chem2Dmat2019 Highlights: • Expected attendance: 200 participants • 34 Keynotes & Invited Speakers • 60 posters • Nearly 65 oral contributions • 1/2-day Industrial Forum in parallel to get an updated understanding of Graphene based technologies • 5 awards to PhD students chem2Dmat2019 is now an established event, attracting global participant’s intent on sharing, exchanging and exploring new avenues of graphene-related scientific and commercial developments.

Living Legends Challenge ike Sigel and Earl Strickland, without a doubt, are “living legends”. Although both players are Hall -of-Famers, Earl has been competing and practicing regularly while Mike has only practiced for this contest. As we all know, both Earl Mand Mike like to talk to anyone who will listen and that’s what they did. Both players were mic’d and were free to express themselves without limitations. The variety of six disciplines: 8-Ball, 9-Ball, 10-Ball, Straight Pool, Banks, and One- Pocket made each player a favorite in several disciplines. As a result, it was an exceptional match that’s worth seeing again. Aramith/SimonisResults for Arena, day John1 Bender and Bill Hendrixson commentating, Sandcastle Billiards, Edison, NJ 1. The show was the chatter. Clearly Earl looked in form as Sigel struggled. Earl competes and practices regularly while Mike tried to get ready for this challenge match and it showed as Earl dominated the 8-Ball match. The 10-Ball match started out similarly, but a Strickland skid on game ball changed things including a swelling confidence from Sigel. It ended up a squeaker as Mike tied it up at 7-7 yet Earl closed it out at 8-7. Again, the player’s mic’d made it a blast. Straight Pool was the game that all thought Mike had his best chance at turning the tables on Earl.
