NHRA Rings The Opening Bell

The NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, with more than 20 partners/sponsors listed on the New York Stock Exchange, was invited to perform the prestigious task of ringing The Opening Bell on Wednesday, June 10, 2009. NHRA President Tom Compton stood center stage on the podium and was flanked by a host of drivers and executives from among the NYSE-listed companies. In conjunction with The Opening Bell, an NHRA Full Throttle Series banner was hung on the façade of the NYSE and several cars were displayed during a driver fan fest.
